OK, if you have read my reviews, this is the last product in the i-Tap line that my wife just had to have. Yes, I ordered this one and the G-Spot vibe in purple. On to the review:

This is the last of four toys in the California Exotic's i-Tap line. The line consists of a vibrator, G-Spot vibrator, bullet, and of coarse, the egg. They all come in the colors purple, pink, and white. The unique feature to this line of toys is that there are no buttons or control knobs, yet they have five different vibrating functions. It is operated by tapping a certain spot on the base of the toy.

The egg has the ability to stimulate the clitoris, labia , nipples, and an all over body massage. It can also stimulate the male scrotum and perineum. Although the egg is a bit large for someone to work out sore muscles, we have found it does a great job on tension headaches and also delivers a soothing massage, with or without massage oil.

The egg can also go into the shower, but do not take it into a tub or pool. I would also recommend keeping it out of the stream of water. It can deliver soothing vibrations where you need it, and also has the ability to stimulate the clitoris and deliver an orgasm.

This egg can be used for solo and couples play. In couples play, it does a great job in teasing, preparing for the right moment. Although I think this is more of a beginners toy, I do think experienced users may find some things about it desirable.

The material this toy is made from is plastic. Plastic is latex and phthalate free and is also Hypo-allergenic. It should be able to be used by almost anyone.

The egg is oblong and has a completely smooth texture, except for some molded letters and design near the touch portion. There is a seam where the battery cover joins the body, but is slightly noticeable to the touch and not really that noticeable to sight. There is also no smell to the product.

The nice thing about the egg is that it is completely rigid. There is no added structures to increase texture. The egg, itself, is easy to hold, even for a full body massage. It does become a bit harder, when any type of a lube is added. Be aware of this, as you don't want to drop and accidentally crack this egg.

The i-Tap egg is 3 inches long and has a maximum diameter of 1 1/2 inches. The working end, the end away from the touch sensor, is slightly narrower than the base. The egg is quite light, even with the batteries installed.

The design of the egg would make it one of the better choices to travel with. It doesn't jump out at someone and say, sex toy. I have to say that it looks like the kid's toy, "Weebles Wobble", without the faces painted on. It's actually a bit oversized, also. This one will also fall over.

This is my wife's and I first egg, so I will do my best as how to rate it. I would have to put this egg in both the beginners and more experienced users hands. The reason behind that, is that this toy is extremely user friendly, has multiple purposes, and it gets the job done.

The only improvement I could recommend would be maybe to have two touch spots to control this toy. It is simple to operate, and for any use of this egg, you have to be aware of finger and hand placement. Otherwise, you risk accidentally changing the settings.

This little egg boasts the five different functions that are on all the i-Tap products. Those functions are:
1- Low continuous
2-High continuous
3-Two low pulses and a three second continuous high
4-High pulse
5-Low pulse

The noise this egg puts out are at the highest, similar to a battery operated shaver. You will be able to hear it through a blanket and possible through a hollow door. The noise is easily drowned out with music, television, or running water.

The vibrations this toy puts out are quite strong. I would say that almost anyone should find a use for this toy, sexually or otherwise. The vibrations are pretty consistent throughout the egg, due to its size and being made of plastic.

This toy can also be used in the shower. Try to avoid the touch end from receiving direct spray. Submerging this toy or having direct spray to the controller ends in disaster. My wife's buried G-spot vibe is the end result from driving toys like this crazy. Yes, she received her purple one so she is again happy.

Care and maintenance of the egg is easy. Just keep it away from kids at Easter. Do not boil this toy. Doing so may distort the plastic, and submersion is not recommended. It can be cleaned with soap and water. Toy cleaner or alcohol may also be used, if needed. If you share, put this in a condom. I recommend not to share.

This toy is compatible with all lubes. It also works great without any. It would be your preference. This toy was not designed for insertion. Please do not try it for that purpose. It does work well with a classical vibrator, though.

The egg takes two AAA batteries. There is an insert, which shows the placement. I recommend leaving the insert in, otherwise, the batteries may rattle. I always recommend having a spare set on hand. Also, remember to remove the batteries when you store this and all toys. Make sure to locate the triangles on both halves of the egg, when removing or installing the batteries. They only go together one way.

Remember, when installing the batteries, do not touch the base where the touch spot is. Doing so will cause the toy not to work. It can be easily reset by removing the batteries and starting over.

There is also an o-ring between the battery cover and body. Make sure it is clean and in proper working order. Do not immerse this toy as the touch pad will go into crazy mode and destroy it.

This toy is simple to store. Make sure you clean and dry it before and after each use. It can be stored in the original box, as my wife and I do, or a dresser or toy chest would work just as well.

The i-Tap egg comes in the normal box for the i-Tap line. It shows the egg on front, back, and one side. It states,"Touch Activated Egg, Just Tap and Go!" It gives the warning not to immerse this toy in water, wash before and after use, and to use a lube for maximum pleasure. It is stated to be made by California Exotics and is manufactured in China.

The box is 7 3/8 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches deep and 3 inches wide. The bullet comes in a plastic bag and there is a small instruction paper for battery placement. The box is a good storage place for the toy, all be it rather large, but great if you collect the series as my wife and I have done.

OK, my wife and I use and test each toy we receive. This one is no exception. I do want to make it very clear that this is her egg. I don't want anyone calling me Mother Goose!

This egg worked extremely well for us in massaging each other. With or without lube, the smooth plastic surface glided over the skin nicely. I, myself, found that the high pulse was best for me.

I also used this egg to tease my wife. I found that with her laying down and me on top, it worked great to stimulate her as I was thrusting. Although the benefits in that way were more towards her(toy wise), I found that her excitement raised my own.

I am glad that I received this egg for her. It now completes her collection of purple i-Tap products-Thank you Cal Exotics! We now have a completed collection that will keep us both happy many years into the future.

What can I say about this iTap Egg? I wanted it for the sole reason that it would complete my collection in this line. I received this one last, because I wasn't expecting too much from it.

When it arrived, I was surprised at its size. I expected bigger, as the picture seemed bigger on Eden. The egg can fit perfectly in the palm of my hand. It does have a petite, cuteness to it, but once the batteries are inserted the sound is shockingly loud from this little thing. I cycled through all the settings and the loudness never waiver's from what I could tell.

We started with the fact that it was a smooth surface and that the vibrations were quite strong, so the decision to try it as a massaging tool was made. It works perfectly for that. It glides over the skin easily, even when not using oil or lotion. It does become harder to handle if there is some kind of substance being used, whether that be lube, oil, or lotion. It is also easy to change the vibrations, due to the "tapping" feature it is known for. Although, I do not find this being a major issue during a massage.

The other thing we found out about the iTap Egg is that it makes for a great toy to add extra stimulation to all sensitive areas. It can be slightly annoying if you accidentally change settings when you don't intend to, but the more you use the iTap Egg, the more you become accustomed to its quirks.

I enjoy this toy and it now has a place in our collection. This is a huge and shocking change from my original thought of never using it. I would recommend this to beginners that are looking to enhance sensitive play. This is petite and non-threating, making it easier for beginners to feel comfortable with it. Advanced users may not enjoy this toy, but may appreciate the technology that is behind the toy.
