I'm "Fairy" Impressed!

Fairy Wands perform some amazing magic, and just because this is one of the smaller ones in the line doesn't mean that it won't perform almost as well as the larger ones! In fact, if you are on the fence about which Fairy Wand to purchase, seriously consider this one first, as it offers both an AC adapter and a 6-AA battery powerpack for on-the-go fun when no outlet is available.

Use

The "Fairy Mini Mini" is a Japanese made massaging wand, smaller in length and weight than the behemoth Hitachi that everyone raves about (personally, been there done that and my arm grew tired before I could orgasm). This little wonder will provide more pinpointed (external only) stimulation where ever it's applied to, i.e. nipples, clitoral region, soles of the feet, etc.; however it also delivers a steady, surprisingly strong surge of power on high. Used by itself or along with a favorite dildo, no one can go wrong owning one of these. It's great for teasing a partner too!

Material / Texture

With the exception of the electrical components, the majority of this toy is made from plastic, which has a high safety rating of 8/10. It's also hypoallergenic, so sensitive users can rest assured. The dome cap has a smooth, matte finish to it, with evenly spaced, non-protruding ridges along the outer ridge that may or may not provide additional sensation during use, all relative to the user of course! The handle is a shiny white plastic with several pink fairies on it.

Design / Shape / Size

The "Fairy Mini Mini" measures just shy of 7-1/4 inches in total length and weighs about 4.5 ounces, which is very lightweight and makes this wand perfect to throw in a purse, suitcase, or to store discreetly. Just as a comparison, the larger "Fairy Mini" (see pic), measures 9.5 inches long and weighs closer to 10 ounces. The handle tapers toward the end where there's a hole for the adapters to connect. An on/off dial controls the speed, and a 1.5 inch diameter dome on a slightly flexible neck sits atop the unit. The cords on both the battery & AC adapters measure 55 inches long. The "mini mini", however, may run a few extra dollars than the regular "Mini" because of the convenience of having two adapters.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This is one of the easiest toys to use, just turn the dial until it "clicks" and increase the intensity. The dial is great because it offers more variety than just the "hi" or "low" of the Hitachi, so you can find the perfect setting. The vibrations are very strong; however, there is a slight difference in the motor power when using the AC adapter versus the battery pack. The AC adapter will provide stronger, deeper, and more rumbly vibrations whereas the battery pack is a tad buzzier and a wee bit less powerful, obviously since it's not receiving quite as much juice. It's still noisy and might be heard through a door unless the user is under several layers of blankets. The frequency is higher than that of the Fairy Mini, but I would have to say it's almost as strong when using the AC adapter, but less rumbly than the larger wand. The battery pack takes 6-AA batteries. I like it because I don't need to be near an outlet to use the toy. Because this is an electrical item, it should not be used in or around water.

Care and Maintenance

The instructions on the box indicated that there is no protection circuit, so to prevent overheating, do not run the toy for more than 10 minutes on the highest power, 15 minutes on medium, or 30 minutes on low. The easiest way to clean the dome is to unplug it and to wipe it off with either isopropyl alcohol or a wet cloth and antibacterial soap. No storage pouch was included, but a plastic Ziploc will do.

Packaging

I received two boxes, one with the wand and the battery pack and the other contained the ac adapter. The box is recyclable and tasteful enough for gifting.

Personal comments

I love the Fairy brand of wands and can't say enough about them. I didn't think this one would be as strong as my Fairy Mini, but it is! And it's not too buzzy. I seem to have issues with the tiny finger vibes and clitoral stimulators that run at too high of a frequency. Rumbling, deep vibrations certainly get me off much faster.

I don't have a wand type vibe in my stash. I like that this one isn't as bulky. Thanks for the size comparison.
