The sex in the shower vibe has all the makings of being a great vibrator. It is waterproof, has 10 speeds, made of out a safe material, and has great size, but it lacks in power. This is unfortunate for such a looker. The sex in the shower vibe is an insertable vibrator, it can also be used to stimulate other areas of the body such as the clitoris, the anus (external only), and the nipples. There are multiple speeds and functions of the speeds, these are suitable for all users and there “SHOULD” be a setting for everyone, but there is not.

The best quality this to have going for it is, that it is waterproof. There is nothing getting into this toy, maybe not even you, but more about that later. The worst quality is the lack of vroom this toy has, the vibrations are really weak on all the speeds. The best suitable person for this toy is someone who is purchasing their very first toy. I say this only because there are a variety of functions and it would allow a beginner to try out many different functions, all in one toy.

The sex in the shower vibrator is made out of two materials silicone and plastic. The handle is made out of plastic, which the handle is also the battery compartment. The actual insertable part is made out of silicone, which a level 10 safety rating. This is because it is latex free, phthalates free, hypo allergenic, non porous, and food grade material. Silicone is a lint magnet, so keep that in mind for storage, but otherwise is easy to maintain. It is some what flexible with a smooth, but drag feeling to it. Thrusting will be just fine to do with this forgiving material. There is a slight smell to this material, when you put your nose up to it; it is like shower curtain smell, but nothing too strong. It does have a similar taste, but not strong either.

There is no added texture to this vibrator, it is completely smooth.

The sex in the shower vibe does look like Lelo brand products. It is a total of 8” long, but only 4.5” is insertable. There are two circumferences to this vibe; this is due to the shape of the insertable part, which is blue silicone. It is hourglass shaped with a noticeable seem, that does not effect its use. The largest part is 4.5” in circumference and the smallest is 3” circumference. The tip of the insertable part is tapered for easy insertion. The battery compartment/ control unit is 3.5”long and 4.25” in circumference, this is also your handle, which is white plastic, but 0.5” of this handle is a silver plastic. On this handle are the push buttons to control the vibrations, these are a rubbery material that has a chalky feel to it. When you twist at the silver part of this vibe, you open up to reveal the battery unit. You will see that the top and bottom of the vibe are connected by a wire and there is a string that is connected to this plastic piece. When you pull up this plastic piece it exposes the battery compartment, this is not easy to open.

The design can be enjoyed by all level of users. The size can be enjoyed by all users and is great for
traveling. It is not discreet, so you will want to keep that in mind for storage and traveling.

There are 10 speeds and functions, these are controlled by 2 AAA batteries. They all vary, but are as follow:

1. Steady high vibrations.
2. Steady medium vibrations.
3. Steady low vibrations.
4. Pulsation that is low.
5. Pulsation that is medium.
6. Fast to slow vrooms.
7. Pulsation that is high.
8. Escalation that is slow.
9. Continuous high vibration in conjunction with a low pulse.
10. Pulsation that is low, but fast.

These functions are controlled by the buttons on the handle. The bottom one turns the vibrator on, but the top one is how you change the functions.

The majority of the vibrations are located at the bulbed top. The best speed in my opinion is number 1, because I like steady and high vibrations. To me the high on this vibrator is like the medium speed on most vibrators. It lacks in power and is not my favorite vibrator. None of the vibrations have loud sound at all and when you use it in water it dulls the sound. It performs very well in water, nothing gets past that hard to open battery compartment. I have not noticed this toy is a battery guzzler.

Cleaning this toy is easy enough, simple wash with soap and water works great, but you can also use toy cleaner or bleach solution. I do not recommend boiling this toy, since it does have wiring and controls. I recommend storing it in a bag or pouch, since it is a lint magnet, but otherwise can go anywhere.

Silicone is compatible with water based lubes. Some like to spot test with silicone based lubes, but doing so could damage the silicone, but if you are up to it try it. I recommend a place like the very bottom, by the silver plastic.

This package is great for storage, until you get a chance to get something else. It is not discreet since it says sex on it and you should wrap for gifting.
