EdenFantasys beach towel - gags discontinued by EdenFantasys - review by darthkitt3n

I always like free things. A few months ago, EdenFantasys gave away free EF beach towels with the purchase of select bath and body products. I was ordering one of the products anyway, so I added the promotion deal to my cart.

The towel comes packaged in a plain cellophane wrapper that keeps it from getting wet or dirty during shipping. It doesn't have any tags or additional information with it aside from the small tag sewn into it. This tag states the towel is 100% cotton and is designed by EdenFantasys. It also has some icons on the back for care that seem almost like decrypting ancient Egyptian messages when looked at. I believe they indicate to wash this in cool water, do not iron, do not leave it out in the sun as it will fade, and no triangles.

Since this is a beach towel, not a bath towel, it's not fluffy or thick feeling. One side is black with the EdenFantasys design over it. The designs are in pink and light green. This side feels very soft to the touch and feels great against skin. The other side is made up of white loops. This side is kind of scratchy as it is meant to be the unused side. This towel is also pretty big. Mine measures approximately 57 inches by 30 inches after a couple of washings. I have a few beach towels sitting around and it seems to be about average with the rest of my beach towels. I do have a couple that are much larger as they are meant more for laying out on the sand to sunbathe. I think this towel will work well for both men and women, as long as they are brave enough to sport EdenFantasys gear outside of their home. If this goes to the beach, dry sand should shake out of it pretty easily.

This towel does have uses other than taking it to the beach. It can be used as a bath towel as well. We use ours occasionally during sex if we are afraid of making a mess on the bed. I personally do not go to the beach often and when I do go, I prefer to use one of my giant towels that completely cover my body.

I recommend washing this prior to use. It will feel much softer if it has been washed and dried and it will work better at absorbing water. This also has some light pilling to it, which a run through the dryer will help with. It may take up to 3 or 4 washings for this to stop leaving little black fuzz balls everywhere. Ours seemed fine after two washings. Since this is dark colored, it definitely needs to be washed with darker colored clothing or towels. The tag says to run it through the washer with cold water. Mine came out of the dryer fine when thrown in with other dark clothing on medium heat.

This towel cannot be left out in the sun. We've had a few black beach towels that my dad has left out to dry on a clothesline in the yard. They get sun bleached and turn this nasty dark brown color after a while. This would be fine if you're sitting outside with it for a short while, but I would not leave it out often or for extended periods of time.

I definitely recommend you pick up one of these. They're great for use around the house and are a good size to take to the beach. They may not be discreet, however, especially if you have nosy friends or family who want to see what the web site on your new towel is. I think the casual passer-by on the beach probably wouldn't notice the web site address, though.

This towel has held up well through several washings. It hasn't faded or pilled all over other towels in the washer, either. We really like using this towel if we want to have sex while I'm still on my period because blood stains don't show up on it.
