I bet you're all really sick of the various musical puns in the Close2You lines' reviews; Say what you will, my title is accurate!

These are vaginal exercisers that are meant to stimulate and remind you to exercise your vaginal muscles or, more commonly known as, your kegel muscles. This has many advantages that you can find the medical reasons for elsewhere, but the most common ones are; the ability to withhold your urine for a longer period of time, feel 'tighter' during sex and foreplay, have stronger orgasms, orgasm more readily, or just wear them to feel sexy or be pleasured by the shifting weights inside the balls.

They also can be worn anally or in either orifice during sex while the other is penetrated, making for an illusion of double penetration. These are safe for anal use because of the long 'tail' and the loop at the end of it, making for easy retrieval. Overall, these can be used for pleasure or for business, but either was they do their job relatively well.

The Loa are made of TPR, which is a rubber polymer blend that is specifically known for being resistant when bent. This is important because the joint of these balls is meant to bend with your body and natural curves, and the retrieval cord gets bent every which way throughout the day and your various activities.

It's more porous than silicone, but still is better than jelly or cyberskin, rating it a 7 out of 10 on the Eden Safety Scale. Unlike the Close2You vibrators, these are not made of silicone so do not, I repeat, do not boil them! Or you will be a very sad Eden Fantasys customer! Being porous, if you want to share this with another partner or use it both vaginally and anally, a condom is definatley recommended. The porous nature means that you can never really clean the entirety of the surface, and bacteria can spread and lead to nasty infections and such.

This toy has quite a bit of drag to it, and I found that this (along with the size) made it difficult to insert. I had to use quite a bit of lube and several different positions to get it comfortable in place, but I found that the extra lube also made it feel more comfortable while inside or me. There are some slight ridges along the design and also a slight seam, but neither of these add or detract from the balls. The balls themselves are very firm, and no part of this toy has any give or stretch to it.

As my first balls, I think that I would have preferred something smoother and with less drag, if only for more ease of insertion. Advanced users shouldn't have a problem, and even I got them situated relatively quickly with a lot of lube.

This toy has two slightly off-center ovoids set on a string, with a looped tail hanging off of one end. Overall, this would be a great size and shape for an advanced or moderately advanced user, but I wish that I would have started out with something a bit smaller. From the tail to the tip, these are 7 inches long, but the strand itself is about 4.25 inches long. Also being 4.25 inches in circumference, these will definatley give a 'filled' feeling.

The retrieval cord has no stretch at all to it, giving it a very sturdy feel. Unfortunately, this also means that it doesn't bend readily making it cause a large, raised area when pushed into the front of your panties. This won't be a problem when used for play in the bedroom, but for every day use it was a bit of a bother.

The retrieval cord has a loop on the end which makes for easy removal even if your fingers are wet or lubed up. As I said earlier, this loop also makes it safe for anal play because it's not going to get sucked in and 'lost' up there!

These balls are very useful when reminding you to do your kegels, but I didn't find them very stimulating otherwise. The large shape of the balls but the thin cord allows for them to not stretch your entrance, but I still had trouble getting them to stay in when I used the restroom ect.

I found that I could indeed feel them shift inside of me, but not due to any sort of repeated movement. The only way I found to get a good 'roll' out of the weights was to roll my body over laying on the floor, and that's not quite as convenient as I wanted. I think that if you want something that has a better 'roll' to the weights these might disappoint you. Fortunately, these can't be heard at all! Be it walking down a quiet hallway, jumping, wiggling your hips, or rolling on the floor these are silent!

After wearing these three times I only feel a slight effect, but I started using them at a bad time because I wear tampons on my period. After Saturday I'm going to wear these again for a longer set of days, but I feel like they are very effective at building up my vaginal muscles. I personally wish I had gotten something a bit smaller, but these should be fine for women that have a normal 'depth' vagina.

I actually just wipe these off with some Eden toy wipes and then toss them into the storage bag that they came with! I was concerned about these because I will have to take them out in the restroom and then return to the room that I share, so washing them was going to be a problem. Fortunately I can get a ready supply of the wipes for free, allowing me not to have to wash them in my room or the public sink!

I store them in a cool, dry place with the rest of my toys. They do pick up a bit of lint, but the storage bag they came with prevents anything ucky from sticking to them. Ideally, I'd wash these before and after use, but if you're careful simply washing them afterwards is still sanitary.

The Loa are compatible with both silicone and water based lube, so you don't have to worry about if your favorite will damage them! I personally used my Toko Aqua which worked quite nicely!

The Loa come in the Close2You packaging that all of the other toys by them do. It's known for being very classy and sturdy, and I couldn't agree more! The box is made of a very hard, sturdy cardboard and is mainly white. It has a color picture of the Loa on the front, and there is a magnetic flap that opens so that you can view the actual toy through a transparent, plastic window.

There were thorough instructions in several languages, but the beads are pretty self-explanatory! I would feel very comfortable using this as a gift box, more so than even the Evolved toys that come in their classy tin! It isn't obscene at all, and there are no words to set off the "oh, that's a sex toy!' reaction.

I was torn between using the box to store my Loa in or the cloth bag that came with them, but I ended up going with the bag. The box is a safer place to store them but sharing a 14'X14' dorm room I'm a bit tight on space!

These were a bit of an uphill battle for me. I had quite a bit of trouble inserting these the first time; I stood up, I put my leg up on a chair, I laid on my belly, I laid on my back, I laid with one leg up, both legs up, and finally got them in. I then stood up, found them very uncomfortable, and had to lay down again to readjust them. I found that the trick is to take several minutes slowly pushing them up into me, and now can put them in while sitting or standing.

Overall, these didn't live up to my expectations of vaginal balls. I LOVE my Harmonia, so I figured that I may as well stick to a brand that I know to ergonomically fit my body. I wish that I had gone with something else, because these are not what I wanted.

In some positions, these felt like they were 'pinching' my insides. After waling around and wiggling, they seemed to 'settle' into place and then felt comfortable until I had to use the restroom again. This went on for a bit, but eventually I got the hang of them.

The most frustrating part was that I really couldn't figure out what I was or wasn't doing to make the weight shift! A few times I was able to get it to happen during my walking, but most of the time it was just random nice feelings when I shifted in my seat or stepped off a curb. They made me want to investigate other vaginal balls, but I think that as soon as I get something more consistent these will simply sit and collect dust!
