My husband and I purchased this product because he was interested in trying to stimulate his prostate. He wanted to make sure he got something small enough to not be painful, and this was a perfect candidate.

This item worked great. We used this anal starter to get ready for a larger vibrator. We didn't need a whole lot of lube to get started and that was a definite plus. It is nice and soft; very comfortable when inserted. We had a little bit of trouble with the flexibilty as it is hard to insert when starting but we have also not had much experiance with male anal penetration. (We figured out that you have to hold it at the base and the tip to get it in properly.) So we explored a little, we found once we got the hang of it it was a pleasure to insert, but not a good stimulator.

All in all, this toy is probably a good way to TEST whether or not anal play is for you. It is also a great to begin your anal play every night to loosen things up. We will definitely continue to use this anal starter to begin our nights of anal play. He was ready for a bit bigger toy with some extra details for a great pain free night of anal exploration. This toy doesn't have enough ribbing to give really good stimulation. For all the guys thinking of trying anal or prostate stimulation this is a great start. It definitely increases the intensity of your orgasm, whether you use it during sex, oral or even masturbation. I also suggest a small to medium butt plug. That is a great way to test your tolerances for girth. We did this, and it will be very helpful in picking anal toys in the future.
