Okay, so after reading tons and tons of reviews I opted to give this little guy a whirl. The quality of this toy that sold me to it, was the size- it is very small ( 4.5 inches to insert, to be exact) and does not have the bulging veins, ridges, and bumps as the bigger and more realistic ones have. There are realistic features, but they are very subtle and smooth. I also liked that it has the contoured flared base, as being a newbie to anal I was very concerned as to how these toys would not get sucked into my anus during play (that is the last thing I want to show up at my doctors' office having to explain). With this little guy, I had no concerns.

This starter worked perfectly for the job I intended it to be used for. A drop of lube was applied, and it slid in with a very gentle glide. I expected more pain being that it was my first time inserting anything, but it was very smooth. In fact, it was quite pleasurable for my first time (again, to my surprise). I enjoyed the texture of it a great deal, and the flexibility of it was nice as I believe that probably was the factor that played in for the super easy insertion. The flexibility was very nice, and greatly appreciated in this product. The material used for this starter is PVC, therefore it is easy to maintain (I simply washed it in warm water with some anti-bacterial soap and air dried it.)

I was pleasantly surprised how well my body took to this starter. My anus took it like a pro, with such great ease. It made the whole experience awesome. My fiance was included here too, and he really enjoyed using this on me. He actually found himself being more turned on by this "introduction" than he had originally imagined also. He loved that the starter was flexible, and we loved that it was small enough where it didn't hurt and we could play for quite a while before actually starting intercourse.

This was great fun, and felt amazing for the first few times experimenting in that area. However, after those few times I felt like I could definitely use something bigger and or longer and did purchase an upgrade very soon after the initial purchase. I do have this little guy in my collection still, as he plays a nice little role every now and then in foreplay...it was definitely a great investment! Anal is just wonderful, and this beginners toy is absolutely perfect for exactly that and more!
