The book contained the instructions, a simple 2 page set of steps telling you how to insert the toy (lay on your side and lift your top knee to your chest for those interested), as well as a plastic filling in a holed out rectangle that contains your toy, which due to the design, basically slips in and locks in place. To pull the toy out you have to wrap your fingers around the middle hole in the design and lift up, otherwise the toy itself won't come out. It's mega discreet, and frankly could be sat out on the bookcase because at casual glance it just looks like a leather bound hard back book. Absolutely amazing.
