There's really only one way to use a set of a nipple clamps and it's pretty darn straightforward. Pull apart the two metal ends, take your erect nipple and place it between the magnets. Make sure to let them go gently, or else they will snap into place and you will be a very unhappy customer with very sore nipples. That's it! You're done! Go and show off your newly decked out tatas.

While not directly mentioned on the product itself there's three materials in play with these clamps. The ring and poles are made of non-magnetic stainless steel. The magnets themselves are harder to place, but they are likely made of a different, magnetic variety of stainless steel. The rhinestones are very resistant to scratching, which means they're most likely made of acrylic.

At this price point I certainly wasn't expecting diamonds, though some color would have been a nice touch. While the materials are very nice the construction is a bit unsatisfactory. The steel on the nipple-ward end of these clamps was distorted and worn, to the point that bits of metal actually broke off after their first use. If there's one place you don't want sharp bits of metal, it's your nipples. The rings aren't particularly even either, with certain sides of the ring being flattened or more tapered than the others. This isn't my first toy by Pipedreams, so I'm honestly surprised to see this poor a level of construction.

Bust out your yardstick and your chest-high radio dials, it's time to do some measuring! The total diameter of the steel ring is a whole inch wide, but with the magnets in place you're only left with a 1/2 inch for your actual nipples. The really important measurement in this case is depth, though. The clamps are 3/8 of an inch deep, so if your nipples stick out less than this then you risk getting pinched in an unpleasant way. Now one thing to keep in mind is that I'm offering the perspective of a male, and we tend to have slightly different nipples. Women's nipples actually project out about .38 inches (literally a fraction bigger than clamps) and are the same size across. Men's are closer to .22 inches or, in scientific terms, "itty bitty." It takes a bit more effort to get these smaller chest-nubbins in there, but it is doable.

These clamps are actually surprisingly gentle at first. Compared to my standard V-shaped clamps, they actually squeeze just as hard. You have to make sure to keep the magnets aligned, or else they'll spin around and snap into place (trust me on this one, that's no fun at all.) Also, keep in mind that as you jostle around, they'll slowly slip off and the closer they get to coming off the more it'll sting. The longest I was personally able to wear them was about six minutes and thirty seconds. After that they did start to hurt, but remember that we are talking about mens' micro-nips. Theoretically, with larger nipples they should fit like a glove; a very sexy glove. Of course you know what they say about assumptions, so I shanghaied two more pairs of nipples (this time of the lady variety) just to make sure. The two made it as far as five minutes and thirty seconds and walking around with a pout over the fact they couldn't handle the pain. This doesn't bode well for Pipedreams (but on the bright side I might have superhero nipples.)

This is a pretty darn easy toy to care for. It doesn't need lube and and can be rinsed off with water if it does get any stray body fluids on it. When you're done using it, just pop it snuggly back in its case and it's safe to put away.

The Metal Worx line tends to have pretty upscale packaging and these clamps are no exception. They come in a durable 4 by 3.5 by 3 inch metal and plastic box. On the outside there's a sticker with a nice photo of the product, though you can peel it right off and leave just the Pipedream logo exposed. Pop open the clasp on the front and the clamps are held in place by a snug foam liner. Honestly, this is the creme de la creme of useful packaging.

Due to the chipping metal, I might try to coat the magnets in rubber. If it makes for a dramatic improvement then I'll bring it up in my follow up review.
