Holdin' Me Down!

I adore this under the bed restraint system from Sportsheets! At first glance this system can seem a tad bit pricey but believe me it is totally and completely worth every penny! Being restrained is an instant turn on for me and some of the best sex of my life has been when hubby and I have integrated this into our playtime. While this system could be a bit too light for seriously advanced players, it is perfect for beginners or intermediates. Also it is way more affordable than buying a dungeon bed and not everyone can have a full dungeon–esque playroom on hand. We have a small child, so having a system like this allows us to still have our time but lead a normal life otherwise.

The best thing about this is that the straps are easily hidden once the system is installed. We just lift up our mattress and hide the straps underneath it. With nosey in-laws lurking about, easily hidden is a very good trait to have! When we had a queen size bed, we had to fiddle with the straps a bit to tighten them up, as when left on their own they were too long to be properly restrained. Once we did that, though, we didn’t have to do it again. Since then we were able to upgrade to a king size bed and it fits perfectly. Hubby is able to keep me in the restraints without me escaping.

I really enjoyed using this system when we had our queen size bed, but as I mentioned above, the straps were just too long. We fiddled with them though and were able to adjust them so that they would fit better. It didn’t take much work and was quite easy to do. If you have anything smaller, though, it probably will not work nearly as well and you may be better off with just rope or finding a smaller system to work with. Since upgrading to a king size bed, however, this system fits our bed perfectly with no fiddling needed. I can’t even begin to tell you of the joy I have while using this!

The system is made from black neoprene/nylon and contains Velcro closures. This system comes complete with four cuffs, four 60'' straps and a 60'' connector strap. As I said with a queen, it was a little too large and required some work to fit. If you have smaller wrists and have leftover Velcro that reaches beyond the cuff, it can be a tad scratchy on the skin but this system is still well worth the price and I would gladly buy it again. The cuffs themselves are comfortable and don’t leave noticeable marks on the skin and I think they would fit just about any wrist/ankle size.

While this item is designed well, I don't think it could hold up to heavy use very well. Regardless, it is perfect for light play and would hold up well to that.

I will admit that I was a bit skeptical when I first bought this item. Hubby and I had only used cuffs before but were eager to try something different. When we first purchased this, we had a queen size bed and had to fiddle with the straps to get them to fit. It really wasn’t much of an issue for us but it did take a little bit of time to do. We now have a king size bed and we no longer have to fiddle with the straps in order for it to fit our bed.

I adore this product, I really do. I love the feeling of being restrained at my hubby’s mercy, so to speak. Stick a blindfold on me and a ball gag and I’m good to go. We’ve used all of that in conjunction with wax play, paddles, floggers, ice, ticklers, etc. Really, this can be used for some great sensation play! I am certain that this item will continue to be one of my favorites for years to come.

We greatly enjoyed and continue to love how this product works. It allows us to indulge in light bondage and at the same time, we can still hide it for discreetness around our families.

Looking back on things, I do realize that this system is more for couples who want to spice things up in the bedroom or who are looking for some light bondage. More advanced players will most likely not enjoy this item, as it could be viewed as “too light.” However, it is one of the most affordable systems of its type and is very discreet. As mentioned, all you have to do is push the straps up under the mattress and you’re good to go! I would definitely recommend this product!
