This, as the name implies, is a restraint system meant to be used in conjunction with a bed. I’ve only tried it on my twin “guest” bed, so I’m not entirely sure how it will fit other beds. You get four 60 inch straps and a single 60 inch strap that all together form a capital “I” shape (The capital I you were taught in grade school with the top and bottom beam). So all together you have 120 inches to wrap around your bed. As my title suggests, this is not a toy for BDSM enthusiasts, this is for couples who want to spice up the bedroom but not actually give up control.

The strapping and the plastic buckles seem to be pretty standard strap affair and if stored properly as you would clothing, I’d say these would last a pretty long time. The sewing on the straps is double stitched, the metal O-rings are standard key-rings, and metal clasps are similar to what would be found on a key ring as well. The cuffs themselves are a soft faux suede-like material with a strip of Velcro sewn down the middle. I don’t have as much hope for the suede-like material lasting as long as the rest of the set as it just feels cheap in the hand. All together this whole set feels like it could be made at home for well under 10 dollars, so I don’t think this set warrants it’s listed price.

This is not your dominatrix’s restraint set; this is a novelty toy. I can easily put these restraints on myself, but more importantly in less than ten seconds I can take these off by myself. These would be good for a couple that wants to add a little spice to the bedroom without any real power exchange. Unless you lack wrist mobility you should be able to disengage either the Velcro, the clasp, or both. The suede-like material is rather comfortable and because this set is adjustable, there is a lot of room for different positioning. Because these are Velcro over a soft material you can get a pretty tight fit on these without cutting off circulation, BUT PLEASE unless you know how to monitor limb circulation always allow wiggle room to allow TWO fingers to be nudged in between the restrain the the limb. If you are looking for a serious restraint set, this is not for you. The strapping could possible be useful if combined with better cuffs. but for approximately 50 bucks I’m sure a better strapping option is available.

I’d say store this in the same conditions you would store your clothing. It is a jumble of straps so it could get knotted so it would probably be best to store these in an orderly manner.
