Oh, how I love this thing. How I REALLY love it. I've come so hard while being held down by it. The Under the Bed Restraint System will fulfill just about every bedroom bondage fantasy you've ever had, and even tap into some you didn't know you had! The combinations and variations are ENDLESS. I mean, seriously… there's very little you can't do with this as long as your imagination – or your Dom's – doesn't run dry.

I could go on and on about how great it is and all the different types of positions and scenes you could play out with it, and how it all works but I would just be parroting the other brilliant reviews already posted on this product. Unfortunately, I only have a 1,000 words in which to write this review, and as much as I'd actually like to write a darn novella about this product, instead I need to address a couple of key points that I don't think I saw anywhere else… One of which was how we “customized” this restraint system to not only restrain ankles and wrists, but my thighs as well via the use of an extra set of tethers and thighcuffs, also made by Sportsheets.

But before I get to that, I need to bring something else up first. The first set of modifications we did is something that I would suggest to anyone who was planning on using this restraint system with any other type of cuffs. The cuffs that come with it (which, BTW, are surprisingly strong and comfortable for just a simple Velcro and velvet cuff) have the silver snaps on them rather than the snaps being on the four restraint straps. First problem people with other cuff sets are going to experience with this is that there is no way to clip the restraint system to other cuffs… unless you take the snaps off of the cuffs that come with the system, which is very easy to do as the ring it's attached to is a spiral ring that looks just like a key ring. It is also a good idea to consider replacing these types of rings with a stronger d-ring, as we quickly learned I could do this if I struggled hard enough. Lol!

Now, as far as the making it capable of six points of restraint rather than just four...

Thigh restraints are a HUGE turn on for me, and have been an ultimate fantasy of mine for years, so when I was looking at this system, that was something I wanted to add to it, and since necessity is the mother of invention, I figured out a way to do it and it worked out quite brilliantly.

Process was very simple. Using these Tethers we made a loop at one end of the tethers, and pulled it through one end of the restraint system. Images of this process are here, here, and here

You repeat the process with the opposite tether and pull tight, attaching the clips to one another for extra security like this.

And that's it. Slide your newly modified Under the Bed Restraint System under your mattress and you are ready to play. The only bad thing about the additional tethers is that they don't adjust out to 60 inches the way the restraint straps on the system do, they only go out to 48 inches… so if you have a king size mattress, then you will need to either use a different set of tethers for your thigh cuffs that's longer, or buy two sets of these tethers and attach them to one another to make a better fit around such a large mattress.

Again, the positions and combinations with the extra set of restraint points added are endless. On your back, on your stomach, doggy style, kneeling. Legs or arms crossed. Just thighs hoisted up and attached to the wrist restraints with the bottom unconnected ankle straps being used almost like a pulley system to stretch wrists and thighs up towards the head board and then ankle straps tied off around the bottom bed posts to hold you there, spread wide… or wrist cuffs simply brought down and attached to the thigh cuffs to allow you the ability to touch your own thighs but little else. Different variations on pretty much anything and everything you can imagine. You could also use the extra set of tethers for a waist restraint instead of the thigh cuffs. Let your imagination have free reign to play. This is a system that will still be surprising you months or even years down the road, as you come up with new ways and positions to use them. I never thought just a collection of nylon straps would be so incredibly arousing, but there it is. Color me very pleasantly surprised! These were one of the best investments I've made so far in a purchase from Eden Fantasys.
