The Acute is an absolutely lovely dildo. It's a Tantus product, which right off the bat should tell you that it's high quality and beautiful in appearance. My Acute is a beautiful deep purple with a sheen to it. It is a quite average and realistically sized dildo with 5 inches of insertable length and is 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It has a flared base which makes it harness compatible and also safe for anal play.

It's made of Tantus silicone which is non-porous and phthalate-free. It is sterilizable and therefore can be shared without a condom; boil it, bleach it with a 10% solution, or throw it in the dishwasher (top shelf, no soap). Very easy to clean. Anti-bacterial soap and warm water work just fine, too, for the more cursory cleanings. The silicone is odorless and tasteless and very smooth to the touch. Silicone toys are only to be used with water-based lubes, though Tantus claims it's silicone is compatible with Eros Pjur Bodyglide, though I stick with a water-based lube to stay on the safe side.

My first thought upon seeing the Acute out the package was that it was much smaller than I had anticipated (I tend to be a bit of a size queen). It has a slight bulge at the tip and has a sharp, angular curve upwards for g-spot stimulation. The Acute slid in no problem, as it's not an overwhelmingly large or filling toy. It feels wonderfully smooth inside, and is a great warm up before moving on to something larger. Oftentimes, a very large toy is difficult to get in if I'm not properly warmed up, and the Acute would be perfect for that. I found that it provided mild g-spot stimulation, but nothing that would set me completely over the edge.

I next tried the Acute with a butt plug in my ass. This was much better. The plug makes my vagina tighter, and sometimes inserting a toy that is too large while I'm wearing a plug is painful. The Acute solved this problem perfectly. With the plug in, the Acute was much more filling and provided much stronger g-spot stimulation. I was able to easily thrust the toy and have it feel comfortable.

The next way that I used to Acute was anally. I am new to anal penetration and recently bought my first plug. Up to this point, I had only had my ass filled with a plug, and never used a toy that could provide a thrusting motion while inserted. The modest size of the Acute made it non-intimidating and very possible to use to fuck my ass. And it was perfect for this use as well. I was able to comfortably get the Acute inserted anally and was also able to comfortably thrust the toy as well. It felt fantastic and smooth and very, very pleasant.

I was unable to try the Acute with a harness, as I do not have the means or the partner, but its base makes it harness compatible. It is firm enough that it should work wonderfully in a harness. Overall, I think that the Acute is a great dildo. It's versatile and offers many different uses. It works wonderfully as a warm up dildo for those that may want something bigger, or is the perfect size for those looking for something more realistically or modestly sized. The upward curve also makes it good for g-spot stimulation. The size also makes it a very usable dildo for anal play, especially for those that cannot, or do not want to, take something larger.

I'm glad to have this toy as an addition to my collection, and it's versatility makes it great for many different people and many different uses.

I still find the Acute about *this much* too small for me to really, really love vaginally, yet it's served me quite well as a warm up toy. Where it's really served me well, however, is as an anal toy. Acute has become my go-to butt toy when I'm in the mood for some thrusting. Of course, because it's Tantus, the quality of the silicone hasn't deteriorated at all.

I know a lot of people that think the Acute is the best G-spot dildo out there, so just because it doesn't hit *my* G-spot just right doesn't mean it won't find yours. Or if you're looking for a warm up toy, would like a more moderately sized option in your toybox (ha. I said "toy box"), or are looking for that perfect dildo for anal penetration, look no further than the Acute.
