*What is this?

Is it a baseball bat? Is it a nightstick? No! Though it could play those roles in a pinch, the Echo Handle by Tantus is actually a sex toy!

The Echo Handle is a 100% Ultra-Premium Platinum Silicone dildo for penetrative use either vaginally or anally (if used carefully). The toy should be thoroughly sanitized if used anally, or it can be covered with a condom. Its ridges and pronounced head are designed to stimulate the g-spot and the handle makes it easy to use alone or with a partner in nearly any position. The base of this toy is flat, so it could be used with a sturdy suction cup.

The long handle would also allow this toy to be used by cam models or for giving your partner a personal show, because it allows your hand to be out of the way so the other person can get a clear view of the action. The only drawback of the long handle means the Echo Handle is not really suitable for use with a harness.


*What is the silicone like?

Tantus silicone is really high quality stuff. It is food grade and totally body safe. Silicone receives a safety rating of 10 here at Eden Fantasys because it is completely non-porous and easy to sanitize. Tantus recommends washing their 100% silicone toys with soap and hot water. To sanitize your Echo Handle, toss it in the top rack of the dishwasher, bleach it in a 10% bleach solution, or boil it (it is safe up to 600° Fahrenheit). With minimal care, Tantus toys can last a lifetime.

The Echo Handle’s silicone is not quite as hard as the other Tantus toys I’ve had experience with. The penetrative part is not squishy, but it is somewhat flexible. The handle is much more flexible, and where the handle meets the dildo is actually somewhat floppy. The silicone has a fair amount of drag, and will require the use of lubricant. It also collects lint, fuzz and pet hair, so a good rinse before using it will be in order.

This toy is safe to use with both water-based and oil-based lubricants. It’s best to stay away from silicone-based or hybrid lubes when using silicone toys. If you have a silicone-based or hybrid lube you feel you must use, just do a small spot test on the handle and watch for a reaction. If there’s no reaction, it will be safe to use that lubricant.

This is definitely not what I would consider a discreet toy. It’s huge and it is not going to easily be explained away or hidden. The measurements are as follows:

*How are the ridges on the shaft?

The ridges along the Echo’s shaft are really the selling point, in my opinion. There are 4 ridges leading up to the head, and the head also has a pronounced ridge on it. The ridges do not add much in the way of girth around the shaft, but they are definitely noticeable during use. Cleaning the ridges does not present any problem at all either.

I would consider the texture of the Echo Handle to be in the moderate range. You’re going to feel them, but if you are a lover of heavy texture, they may leave you wanting just a little bit more. If you prefer less intense texture, or are just beginning to explore textures this would be a great place to start.

The handle also has ergonomic ridges on it for your fingers. They make holding the toy a bit more natural and easier.


*What’s the packaging like?

The Echo Handle comes in the classic Tantus packaging. It sits in a plastic, molded tray. The tray slides into a clear, plastic box with some information about the toy on the exterior of the box. The original packaging could be used for storage, but it isn’t extremely sturdy and does have a tendency to rip or tear where the box closes.


*How should I store this toy if I can’t use the original packaging?

High quality silicone is one of the easiest materials to store. It will be completely safe if stored with other 100% silicone toys. If you feel uncomfortable with that, or if you aren’t sure if your other toys are 100% pure silicone, you can store your Echo in an old tube sock, the leg of an old stocking, wrapped in a towel, in a plastic baggie, in an old pillow case, or anything similar.

Sex toys should always be stored out of direct sunlight and in a cool place.

*Experience

This is really just an exceptional toy. It’s well made, very high-quality and boasts a thoughtful design. Tantus has hit another one out of the ballpark with the Echo Handle! It’s perfectly designed for g-spot stimulation, and the handle makes it easy to thrust. The handle is great for solo use, but it’s also designed to allow a partner to wield it with ease. The fact that the handle is flexible makes it less likely to cause any pain if a partner is thrusting it.

The only thing about this toy that makes it less than perfect for me is the moderate texture. I really prefer no texture, but because I love this toy so much I’m going to try to grow my tastes. Maybe with continued use I’ll be able to start enjoying texture more. That’s how great I think this toy is, and how much I love it. I actually hope to expand my likes to include some moderate texture, so I can use this toy more. I can’t say anything negative about it, nor does it have any drawbacks.
