Echo handle - g-spot dildo by Tantus - review by Apirka

Tantus, the makers of superb 100% silicone sex toys, has taken their lovely Echo dildo and added a handle to it! The handle allows you to use it on yourself or a partner with ease; however, because of that handle, this toy is not suitable for use in a harness or with a suction cup.

The Echo Handle is available in two colors: Strawberry and Midnight Purple. It is made from 100% Ultra-Premium Platinum Silicone, which is nontoxic, phthalate free, hypoallergenic and nonporous. Being nonporous, the toy will not harbor bacteria and can be fully disinfected, allowing it to be shared with a partner or simply between orifices. Since it is silicone, it does attract some hair and lint, so a quick rinse before using is a good idea. The material is also scent and taste free.

The entire toy is a solid piece of silicone, unlike the handle-less version of the Echo (which has a hole in the bottom for a bullet). The material is a bit firm, though there is a little bit of give to it when squeezed. However, both the insertable portion and the handle have some moderate flex to them. Also, there is some drag to the material: the shiny insertable portion has more drag than the matte handle part.

The material of the Echo Handle is also quite smooth other than an imprint of Tantus' name at the bottom of the handle. The texture on the dildo is quite moderate, and shouldn't be too overwhelming for those new to textured toys. The back is relatively smooth, as most of the texture from the ridges is on the sides and front of the 7" insertable portion of the dildo (total length is 11 1/2", 4 1/2" of which is the handle). The very top of the dildo has a rounded head with a pronounced ridge (circumference of head: 5", diameter: 1 3/8"); below the head are four more ridges, the last of which rounds back up before continuing straight down to the bottom of the toy. The handle also has three ridges that run the entire circumference of the toy (which make for excellent finger grips) before it flares out gently at the bottom.

The Echo Handle is an awesome G-spot stimulating dildo. Though it is straight, the ridges rub against the G-spot deliciously. As this is marketed as a G-spot dildo, anal use is not entirely recommended. However, there is a slight flared base, and the length of the toy should prevent it from getting completely lost in the anus. However again, if you do intend to use this toy anally, use caution and maintain a firm grip on the handle (or have a partner wield it for you).





Caring for the Echo Handle is quite simple. The silicone material is easily maintained by washing with soap and water, toy cleaner or wipes, placing it in the top rack of a dishwasher with no detergent, or by boiling (though the biggest challenge by boiling is finding a large enough pot to put it in). Storage is also easy: simply place the toy back into the package it came in (which is the same clear plastic box that Tantus' other items come in), or slip it into a tube sock or purchase/sew a storage pouch. Also, as this is a silicone toy, silicone lubes should not be used with it to prevent damage to the toy. Water-based lubes are recommended.

I'm absolutely in love with the Echo Handle! First off, the handle was one heck of an idea. I have the Anaconda by Tantus, and the handle makes wielding that bad boy so much easier. And that's the same story with the Echo Handle. The handle is easy to grab and thrust with, while the ridges along the dildo's shaft hit my G-spot with every thrust. I even enjoy the bright pink coloring of this toy. Honestly, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Echo Handle. It definitely rocks my socks off.

Now, as for the title of my review... I would most certainly consider this the "Goldilocks" of Tantus' ridged dildos. The length and girth are not too long, not too short, not too thick, not too thin. Everything is just right. If you're at all familiar with the Charmer and the Tsunami, size-wise I would say the Echo (and thus the Echo Handle) comes in about in the middle of those two. Again, just right. As I said above, I have nothing bad at all to say about the Echo Handle. I love every inch of it.
