Amber wave - double ended dildo discontinued by EdenFantasys - review by SadoMas

The Amber Wave by SSA Glass has a cute design for a glass dildo. However, it wasn't compatible with me and my preferences. The curves of the toy did not bring me pleasure. In fact, it was a tad uncomfortable during use.

The head of the Amber Wave has swirls, and two nubs for the "snakes eyes".




Along the curves, there are 14 nubs. At the end, there are 5 nubs in a circle.

The Amber Wave that I received was red and clear -- unlike the one on the product page, which shows red with yellow/orange nubs. The Amber Wave's overall length is 9". Its insertable length is 8". It's 4 1/4" in circumference, and 1 1/2" in diameter. It weights 11 oz.

To me, it was a lovely concept. Its design is lovely and simple. I cannot say much about its performance though, because I did not really enjoy the curviness.

Glass sex toys are extremely easy to clean. There are a variety of ways to clean your glass toys. Soap and water is one of them. You can also boil them, or use a toy cleaner. They are also dishwasher safe.

They are also compatible with any type of lubricant.

My Amber Wave came to me wrapped in bubble wrap, and tucked inside its velvety drawstring pouch. I would not recommend using the pouch without caution, as it's not padded within; if you just toss it in with the rest of your toys, it might not be protected.
