The very nice thing about the Amber Wave is that it's a double-ended dildo, so you can use either end. The smaller end was wonderful for clitoral play, but I'd recommend the larger head for vaginal thrusting. However, since this toy is completely glass, be careful when thrusting. There are nubs throughout, and you wouldn't want to be sore and walking funny after use. Although there are two heads, neither are large enough for anal play, so I would advise against it for fear of disappearance.

Being made of glass, temperature play is definitely an option. I definitely recommend trying this baby cold; it's absolutely wonderful. Just always be careful when handling, hot or cold, so you don't harm yourself in the process!

The Amber Wave is made of Pyrex glass. (Pyrex is also known as tempered glass.) Pyrex is a different kind of glass that is less dense than what you usually associate with glass, making it much harder to break or shatter. This is an extremely good thing if you're prone to dropping things, like me.

This little guy has nubs placed randomly on either end and throughout the body. The large head has two nubs that look like eyes while the smaller end has them in a circle around it. Personally, I love the texture. It adds a tremendous amount of stimulation when using.

There is no smell, there's no taste, and other than the nubs, this toy is incredibly smooth. Glass is also not porous, but take care when sharing your toys!

I was extremely wary when I purchased this toy. It's rigid and in a wavy shape. Also, I was a bit put off with how it looked like a snake. However, I couldn't get over what a beautiful piece of artwork this was. I decided that even if I didn't like it, I could at least proudly display it like a trophy. It's completely breathtaking.

The bigger head on this toy is probably my favorite part. It provides a more filling feeling than the smaller end. However, the smaller end allows for some G-spot stimulation. It's mostly based upon user preference, and you can certainly go either way with it.

While cleaning, use a toy cleaner or mild soap and water. I would not recommend boiling it just because of the glass for fear of weakening it. You could also use a 10% bleach solution.

Since glass is of a nonporous nature, you don't have to worry about it either collecting dust and lint or melting (though don't let it get too hot!). I would recommend storing it in a plush bag to prevent breakage if consistently dropped.

The Amber Wave comes shipped inside a red crushed velvet bag and is wrapped in bubble wrap. The red bag is intended to be a storage container, lined with a satiny interior but not padded. While it will keep the toy away from scratches, it will not provide sufficiency against breakage should it be dropped.
