The Amber Wave glass dildo is made to pleasure your insides and outsides. I love to cool it down and run it over my breasts. It is great for all-over body stimulation. To hit my G-spot, I simply angle it up and start thrusting. I can go pretty deep and hard with this toy. I do recommend going slow the first couple of times to learn your limits. I don't have a shallow vagina, so I have not had any bruising or painful moments with this toy. This can often occur when thrusting glass hard and fast, so please take caution. Since there is a lack of a flared base, this snake is not meant for anal penetration. Sure, you can tease and taunt the outside of the anus with this toy, but I would not insert it. Also, be careful when you lube this one up. Glass becomes very slippery when wet.

This pleasure-filled snake is made out of 100% Pyrex glass. Glass is one of the safest materials, besides silicone, to use. There is no smell or taste to this material. Glass is latex free, non-porous, phthalates free, and hypo-allergenic. Non-porous is just a fancy word meaning that glass dildos can be disinfected. Glass usually dislikes extreme temperatures, so I would not boil this dildo. I do suggest either cleaning with warm water and soap or using a 10% bleach solution. If dropped, Pyrex glass will not splinter into a thousand pieces. Instead, it will break into large and easy-to-clean-up pieces. That said, please check any glass dildo you have for chips or cracks each time before you use it. Glass is compatible with water, silicone, and oil-based lubes. It will become very slippery, so please be careful when using with lube or when in the shower. Glass holds onto temperature very well. Simply place in a bowl of water (your choice of temperature) for a couple of minutes. Extremes such as boiling or freezing can cause burns and frostbite. Also, going from one extreme to another can cause a great amount of damage to your glass dildo. I highly suggest against both ideas. Glass is very unyielding, which means that it has no give. If you prefer softer toys, glass may not be for you. I caution against heavy thrusting, especially if you have a shallow vagina, because glass can cause bruising to the cervix.

The insertable length is 8". For someone who is new to glass or texture, I think the Amber Waves is slender and texturized enough for comfort. Unless you know that texture or glass is not your thing, I would suggest this toy to anyone. With the storage pouch, this boy should be very easy to travel with. Obviously, this toy was built to look like a snake. It has the curvy, winding body of a snake in motion. This toy does not look like a sex toy. It looks like a cool knickknack or collectible. I wish I had a cabinet to showcase this unique toy.

The one thing I love about SSA Glass is the lack of packaging. My Amber Wave came to me in a red velvet storage pouch. The glass dildo was wrapped in Bubble Wrap as well. I wish they did include some sort of care instructions for those who have not dealt with glass before. Other than that, the packaging is simple, and I adore simple.
