Magnum - strap-on dildo by Fun Factory - review by DarkHorse

We purchased this Magnum Dildo by Fun Factory to be used with the SpareParts Joque Harness. We were just starting out and experimenting with pegging. After looking at some other dildos we chose this to start with.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about this dildo. When you first pick it up you notice that it's fairly stiff but still has some give to it and wiggles when you shake it. This allows the toy to have good thrusting power while not being hard or uncomfortable while doing so. I really, really liked the base on this dildo. The rounded triangle shape makes a great base with use in the Joque Harness. This dildo is definitely not scary given the name Magnum. Since it's thicker, it may take a little to get it in for pegging. It wasn't uncomfortable using it as an anal dildo even for beginners like us. This is a very smooth dildo and feels great if you're one who doesn't like texture.

First off, the best quality for me is that this dildo is silicone. Silicone is about the safest material you can use with your body. When using silicone toys, it is best to use them with water-based lubricants as silicone-based lubricants will break down the material and leave it gooey. Of all the toys we have owned I have to say this is easily our favorite. The combination of the smooth and odor/taste free silicone and simplicity of it really took us by surprise. This will not be our last silicone toy and despite the expense I can say that I'd rather spend $50+ on a single silicone toy than $15-$20 every 6-8 months to replace our latex/jelly toys. The instructions that came with the Magnum state that it may be washed with warm water and disinfecting soap. Many places will tell you that silicone can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or running it through the dishwasher on the top rack. I have not tested these theories but I have heard plenty of cases where this is true.
