O2 Mark - realistic dildo by Tantus - review by ~LaUr3n~

The O2 Mark Realistic Dildo from Tantus is my first dildo from Tantus and the most realistic dildo I have tried. In fact, it is the first and only flesh dildo I have experienced. I chose this specific one because, in a way, it still is not super realistic in looks. It feels super realistic though! The silicone it is made of have two densities, making it feel like a real hard cock. It works wonderfully in a harness due to its large, wide base. It can even feel great anally, if you can wrangle it in. The head is soft and does not have a lot of definition so it probably won't provide much g-spot stimulation. I still think it is a superb realistic cock and recommend it to any woman or man looking for a medium sized dildo.

Tantus has some seriously wicked awesome silicone. It is super soft in a lot of their toys and the company describes their toys as "The world's best soft toys for adults - 100% Ultra-platinum silicone". It is non-porous, latex and phthalates free, and hypo-allergenic. The surface has two different feels. The lighter color has a more matte feel to it and does have some drag. The top part, the head, is smoother but feels a bit sticky. It is easy to overlook though. For this toy, they have ingeniously paired two silicone densities together to create a realistic feel. Squeeze it!

REALISM:
A very firm inner core can be felt in almost the direct center of the toy. This imitates the two corpus cavernosum channels in a penis that fill with blood around the urethra, creating an erection. Unfortunately, the mold is off (at least it is on mine). It is not directly center as it should be. It is shifted to one side and not far enough towards the bottom. Instead of being under the penis, it is closer to the top. The corpus spongiosum, which engorges with blood to protect the urethra opening during an erection, is not imitated. I would love if it were. This could totally be done if the mold design were spot on.

The firm core does not go all the way up into the head. The head is very soft. I wish this was firmer as well since a hard penis head can cause a g-spot reaction in me. Due to this being soft, the Mark O2 does not provide g-spot stimulation, which I found disappointing. The base is very firm which makes it excellent for harness use. The bending ability of the dildo is realistic too. It can bend, but does not bend in half.

It comes in three different solid colors: vanilla, caramel, and chocolate. All three have no extra coloring for the veins etc. I prefer this because while I like the feel of veins, I don't like it when they are highly colored. The vanilla, in my opinion, is too pale. I love a tan, so I went with the caramel since it is more like my partner. The chocolate looks delicious too, though!

I would consider this dildo to be a very realistic, moderate size. I would recommend it to anyone, but those who want to feel super full, might find this dildo a bit lacking for them. It was great for me! The shape is realistic but does not look like an exact mold of a real penis. It is 6 1/2" long, and about 5 3/4" is insertable. The shaft is about 4 1/4" long with an added inch and a half for the head. It does curve slightly, but it is not extreme by any means. The head does have a small meatus (the urethra hole) and frenulum (small fold of skin on the underside of the head- gives definition to the head). The head is not super defined from the shaft. I wish it were just a bit more. Good news is that it will not catch on pubic bones. The shaft has slight veining that I did not find very noticeable during penetration, but I'm sure they contributed to the realistic feel.

It also has a moderate thickness of just under 5" in circumference. The shaft blends into the base very nicely. The diameter of the base is 2 5/8" across which is a very nice size. There is a small Tantus logo stamped into the top side of the base. This can help you figure out which way is up when it is inserted. Visually, the entire dildo is very nice to look at.

Due to the design and realism, this dildo is obviously not discreet. Regardless, I would suggest keeping it in a package of some sort and tucked away, because it does collect lint etc.

Seriously, the Mark O2 feels extremely real. The density, shape, and bend really contribute to this. Dildos have not really been my thing in the past. I have usually needed something else to get me off, especially if these is no g-spot stimulation. I did not feel g-spot teasing with this dildo, but if I closed my eyes and really focused on the real feel of the dildo, all I needed my my hands to finish the deed. Realistic dildos are my thing! I have totally been missing out because of being turned off by the look of painted on veins, stippled skin, etc. The Mark O2 allows the user to experience a real feel without having to look at something that is super realistic down to every detail. It was easy to thrust and while I did not use it in a harness, I did try it in one and it felt great. It fit well and felt secure.

Anally, this dildo feels like smooth sailing, after you get it in. The very soft head can take a bit of steadiness and patience to insert. With practice, it got easier and easier. It was not enough to make me orgasm by itself, but I was able to achieve awesome orgasms with a bit of added clitoral stimulation.

Before use, I recommend a rinse because it collects lint and what not. Since this is silicone, it can be boiled for 5-10 minutes or thrown in the dishwasher for sterilization. I would clean it by hand with soap and water first, to make sure you get around the base and the slight grooves. You can then wait for it to dry before storing it in a plastic bag or the package. Make sure to only use water based lubricants with this. Silicone lubes will melt the material!

The packaging for the Mark O2 is fairly simple. It comes in a molded, plastic shell of itself. This slides into a clear plastic box. Obviously, this is not discreet since it can be seen from every angle. There is a lot of information written on the packaging, making it very informative. I have a gripe about the package though. The plastic tabs that hook into the plastic box break off over time, and then the folding lid follows. The plastic being bent back and forth causes this. Other toys I have from this company have all had this happen to their package. In time, you may need to find a replacement.
