Blossom G is a double ended glass dildo from SSA Glass. It is intended to be used vaginally for penetration and G-spot stimulation. When using the Blossom G, or any other glass dildo, please keep in mind that glass is a firm, unforgiving material and vigorous thrusting can cause internal bruising. It is long and does feature a large round bulb on one end but does not feature a flared base. I would recommend against using this anally. If you do use this anally, please use extreme caution as glass can be very slippery when lubed up and you can lose your grip on the end.

Glass dildos are also a great choice if you’re looking to engage in temperature play. Blossom G is made of Pyrex glass which holds temperature well. Blossom G can be used hot or cold. To heat the Blossom G, simply run it under warm water or submerge it in a bowl of warm water. I would caution against microwaving or boiling the Blossom G for temperature play as the temperature of the glass can reach extremes. To cool the Blossom G, simply run it under cold water or submerge it in a bowl of cold water. Blossom G can also be refrigerated to be used cold. I would caution against freezing the Blossom G. Again, temperatures can reach extremes. When engaging in temperature play, make sure to test the temperature of the glass on your wrist or other sensitive skin to avoid injury.

Blossom G can also be used as a simple body massager. When warmed, the firm texture can be used to massage sore muscles and relieve tension. Blossom G can be used to rub and massage any body part, including erogenous zones. Blossom G does not have many nubs so it is not the best glass dildo that can be used as a body massager, but it is still effective.

Blossom G is made of borosilicate, or Pyrex glass. Pyrex glass is tempered so it is not prone to breaking. The boron that is added to Pyrex glass reduces any stress that the glass undergoes. If Pyrex glass were to break, it would not shatter. Rather, it would break into large chunks. Glass is completely body safe and very low maintenance. It is hypoallergenic, latex free, phthalate free, and nonporous. It is easy to fully sanitize glass so it will not harbor bacteria or hold any smells or tastes. Glass is also compatible with any type of lube. Blossom G is completely smooth with no texture or drag. It glides over skin effortlessly. Blossom G is also completely solid and rigid. There is absolutely no give to the material. The firmness of glass can make any texture or size seem exaggerated while in use.

Blossom G is a double ended dildo with a slight “S” curve. On one end, it has a tapered, semi-realistic head that is angled upwards if you are holding it nub side upwards. The shaft has 5 raised nubs. The nubs on my Blossom G are not in a straight line or uniform in shape. Other reviewers have also had nubs that are very different in size, shape, and placement. This is due to the differences that occur in the process of making a glass dildo. The other end of the Blossom G features a large, round bulb. It is not tapered. The bulb is angled downwards if you are holding the Blossom G nub side upwards. The shaft itself is also slightly tapered. It ranges in circumference, starting out narrow at the base of the head to it’s widest point at the base of the bulb.

While the measurements may not seem too large, please keep in mind that glass is very rigid so the size may seem exaggerated in use.



Visually, the design of this piece is stunning. Inside of the head is a red and yellow blossoming flower. The bulb features an orange and yellow flower. The entire shaft is covered with red swirling stripes. The 5 nubs are each a deep, dark red color.

The Blossom G does well for me as a g-spot dildo. Of course, every female has a different anatomy and I have read reviews of this dildo when women said it offered them little to no g-spot stimulation. Even if it does not provide g-spot stimulation, the Blossom G does make for a good (slow) thrusting dildo as it is not textured.

Caring for and maintaining glass dildos is really easy. Glass dildos are completely waterproof. Glass can be cleaned with soap and water, your favorite toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution. To sanitize glass, you can also boil your glass dildos or wash them, without soap, in the dishwasher on the top rack. Because they can be sanitized, glass dildos, such as the Blossom G, can be shared between partners. As I stated before, any type of lube can be used with glass dildos, including the Blossom G. Glass is already very smooth so very little lube is needed with non-textured dildos.

Before and after use, be sure to inspect any glass dildos for chips or scratches. If properly stored and cared for, glass dildos have very little chance of chipping or scratching. However, it’s much better to check for scratches with your hand than to find scratches while in use. Scratches and chips in the material can cut sensitive tissues.

Blossom G came packaged in a red velvet bag and bubble wrap that is standard for SSA Glass pieces. The velvet bag is not padded. I recommend buying a padded bag or keeping the Blossom G wrapped in bubble wrap inside of the velvet bag. The velvet bag does have a black drawstring that is used to close the top of the bag, however, the drawstring is more or less ineffective. To actually close the bag, you need to tie a knot in the drawstring to prevent your glass dildo from falling out. The velvet bag features no pictures or text so it is completely discreet. Without looking inside of the bag, no one would know that the bag was used to store a glass dildo.

I love the Blossom G! So far, I only own three glass dildos. This is largest one I have used so far and I find the length and girth satisfying. Right now, it’s the perfect size for me to use. I find that using this on the bulbed end, nub side down, is my favorite. The large, bulbed head is angled upwards and can reach my g-spot. The tapered head tends to be a little too flat for me to really enjoy, I prefer the dramatic round shape of the bulb. The bulb can also produce that “popping” sensation that some individuals love. The popping sensation is not very extreme, as the bulb is only 4.75 inches in circumference, but it is still enjoyable. I loved using the bulbed end for very shallow thrusting to achieve the popping sensation. The five nubs on the shaft also do very little for me. I can hardly feel them internally during use and they do not add any stimulation. If you’re very texture sensitive, they might bother you. I’m going to say that those weary of texture should not shy away from this dildo because of the few nubs.

Overall, the Blossom G is my favorite, go-to dildo right now. It’s a great dildo to use as a warm-up in preparation for a more textured dildo. It also does well as just a thrusting dildo. Whether I’m using it as a warm-up or by itself, I have yet to be disappointed with my Blossom G.
