Egg-ercise Your Sex Life

Had been curious about using eggs for p.c. exercises for a long time. Delightfully pleased with this lovely choice. It makes doing your sex-ercises *so* much more fun. I definitely prefer that it is stone over some sort of plastic material. I would be interested to know exactly what type of stone it is though.

Use

I can tell I'm going to love this one. It can literally be used any time you aren't already having sex. Yes, that's right anytime, all the time. I washed it and put it in while I was in the shower and within a couple of kegels I could tell I was going to "enjoy" this exercise so much more, now that I have the Crystal Egg. As I contract and relax my pelvic floor muscles, I can feel my vaginal canal wrap itself around the egg in the most delightful way. It is a very arousing and erotic feeling. I've heard that some women can reach orgasm while using some types of kegel exercisers. Now I understand how that could be and hope with more practice that I can be one of those women.

Material / Texture

It looks like a beautiful polished gem specimen because it is...except it has a plastic chord on it. It's smooth to the touch, glossy and has a nice weight to it. Since it's made of stone there is no smell to it at all and I'm sure if you keep it clean it will stay that way.

Design / Shape / Size

I like the simple design of it. I was drawn to it because of it's traditional composition of stone with egg shape.

When I first looked at it online I thought it would be a bit large. Upon arrival I felt a bit more at ease. Being able to see the size next to a vibrator I already had I could tell it would fill me up but, not by too much, which had been a concern of mine. I'm pretty sure I'm of average size so, unless you are particularly petite I wouldn't think it would be too big.

Since it is a stone egg, I think this has got to be one of the more travel friendly sex toys one could own. Now I have had a quartz sphere I got as a gift set off an x-ray machine at an airport however, because of it's benign design it would be quickly over.

Performance

Since this is an exercise tool, it really is an ongoing process. Though I can tell for certain that it definitely makes doing your kegels more fun! AND it fits in my pocket.

The pocket part I realized was important when upon using it for the first time I tried to take the dogs out for a walk while wearing it. Ooops! Don't think I've toned up *that* much yet. I got about half a mile from my house when I realized I was beginning to lay an egg, so to speak. (I know I was blushing.) When I finally got to a discrete area, I ended up having to reach down and grab the egg to put in my pocket.

Care and Maintenance

I simply have used soap and water to clean it, before and after, rubbing alcohol would work fine too. The company recommends using grapefruit extract solution diluted in water and mentions that the stone is coated with a protective coating, which is compatible with both water based and silicone based lubes. How easy is that!

The egg comes in a clear plastic bag with an easy to read simple instruction book and a beautiful multi-color decorated velvet drawstring pouch. The pouch is definitely pretty enough to use for gift giving of its own accord.

Personal comments

Yes, yes you should get the Crystal Egg! Sure you can do kegels on your own without any tools but, why not make it more fun by giving yourself something to squeeze. ;) I really enjoy the fact that I can use it while doing other activities and nobody else needs to know. I get to have this nice yummy feeling inside and can type this review at the same time. "Look babe, no hands!"

p.s. Great tool for getting yourself in the mood.

    Oooh very interesting. I wonder how this is compared to Smart Balls. I've been very curious about kegel exercisers ever since I got those and this looks very intriguing. But I relate to the walking around/laying an egg bit--that happened to me the first time I used the Smart Balls!

    @Newlyinclined I looked at your review of the Smart Balls for contrast. The Crystal Egg is 1/2 inch wider in diameter and has no grooves or internal parts, just solid stone [I think from looking at the manufacturers website, it's zebra jasper]. I don't think using a kegels exerciser is as relevant for someone who doesn't have a fair amount of vaginal sex experience. And, to note from what I've read, using smaller eggs is more advanced since a person would have to squeeze it more tightly to keep it in place. [Seems like one would start w/a larger egg and move smaller while adding weights to the external chord.] While using the Crystal Egg it was only when I was squeezing, actually doing the kegels that I got the pleasurable sensations.
