Crystal egg - exerciser for vaginal muscles by Nectar products - review by LucyLemonade

The first time I saw the Crystal Egg I knew I had to have one! This crystal egg did not let me down.

The crystal egg comes along with a velvet pouch that can be used as a carrying case or a weight pouch for further exercising. I was excited to open mine up to see which color and design my egg was. Since the eggs are picked for you instead of by color choice, it makes for a good surprise. The velvet pouch was a deep purple that had some variation near the edge where the dye was lighter. The only con I have about the pouch is that it comes with glitter, which tended to get all over my hands while handling the egg for the first few times.

My egg was a beautiful brown stone with variations throughout and held a nice shine. There are no real cracks or lines in my egg; though it can happen since the stone is an organic material and cracks can occur in the nature of the stone. If yours arrives with some slight issues in the smoothness, don't jump to conclusions that it might be cracked or broken.

Attached to the egg is a long loop which can be used to ease the egg back out of the vagina after exercising, or attach the velvet bag which you can place weights that will challenge your muscles to work harder.

The crystal egg is inserted into the vagina and then using your PC muscles you can feel your kegels intensify with the use of the egg. Inserting the egg was a bit of a challenge for me due to having a condition which makes penetration difficult and causes irritation at the vaginal opening. I had to make sure that I was already aroused before inserting the egg.

I attempted two different positions to insert the egg and found that standing up with one foot upon the bed was the best position for me. Once past the vaginal opening I could feel my PC muscles bring the up upward and set comfortably inside. I actually couldn't feel the egg much after it was drawn upward but did my kegels around it. Once inside I could have carried the egg for quiet sometime without any discomfort.

To further use my egg, I would pull on the string and begin to bring the egg out before concentrating the muscles to bring it back up. Kind of a tug o' war with my vagina!

Bringing the egg out was simple with the looped cord. I must have a fairly high acidity to my vagina since the tumbled finish of the stone was already dulled by first use. This is natural with the stone and the glossy finished can be restored using natural oils. The stone is easy to clean with soap and water.

The crystal egg also comes with a nice pamphlet that gives you good information about the egg itself and how to do variations on Kegel exercises.

I would love to see a smaller version of this egg available. Only just a tad smaller and I would have found it easier to insert due to the nerve condition I have. I would be tempted to buy several versions of these eggs, they really are a beautiful piece of art all on their own.
