Satin is another winner by the Sliquid brand. This amazing vegan lubricant doubles as a feminine moisturizer for when us girls have our dry days from hormones or whatever. It is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, paraben free, and formulated to emulate your body's natural lubrication. All you need is a few drops of this thick water based lube and you're good to go.

Satin is a nice thick water based lubricant like the Sliquid Organics Gel. It's not quite as thick as the Organics Gel, but it's pretty close. It won't run all over the place if you put it on a toy or your fingers. If you do make a mess, don't worry. Satin is non-staining.



It can get a little sticky and foamy when your rub it between your fingers for a bit. But, add a little spit or your natural lube and it goes back to normal. When used as a lubricant, Satin feels like your natural fluids.

Sliquid's Satin has no scent when outside of the bottle. If you unscrew the cap and smell it, it has a faint almost citrus-y scent. It has very, very little taste. The taste is very light and I think it may be the Aloe Vera, but I may be wrong.

This really made a difference on those days before my period when I get a little dry. I normally don't need a personal moisturizer, but one of my new medications really dehydrates me. Satin leaves me feeling natural and comfortable.

As a lubricant it is rally long lasting. It doesn't get sticky and feels like we aren't using any lube at all during PIV sex. Satin is thick enough to work well as an anal lube, too. It cleans up easily with soap and water or a a handy-dandy Eden wipe.

Satin by Sliquid comes in a dark blue plastic bottle with a push top style top. The bottle seems to be a much thinner plastic than Sliquid Organics Gel because it is much easier to squeeze. The bottle doesn't leak, no matter what position you hold it in.



The blue label is really attractive and discreet. If anybody saw this sitting out on your bedside table, they probably would think it was a bottle of hand lotion.



Ingredients: Purified Water, Plant Cellulose (from Cotton), Carrageenan, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera), Natural Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Cyamopsis (Guar Conditioners), Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid.

What can I say about Satin? I'm in love with it. It very well have given Sliquid Organics Gel a run for it's money. I think it may be my new favorite lubricant. It feels very natural as a lubricant and it's great for those times when I'm feeling uncomfortably dry from my medications. It's vegan and great for people with sensitivities.

The package is classy and discreet. You don't need to use very much at all, so a 4.2 fl oz bottle will last quite a while. It works perfectly for toy play or anal. The only thing keeping it from topping the Organics Gel is the price.
