Nights in Blue Satin

This is the best lubricant I’ve ever used. It's the first product that I have absolutely no complaints about. I know that some will pass on it because it's a bit pricier than other options, but there's a reason it costs more. It's absolutely worth it. And since it only takes a few drops, it will last a lot longer than you think. It works wonderfully as a female moisturizer and outstandingly as a personal and partner lubricant. It absolutely shows the quality of Sliquid products.

Use

Satin Sliquid is a lubricant designed with the female body in mind. Sometimes, whether due to age, medication, or just plain nature, women tend to dry out a bit in the nether regions. This wonderful lubricant will help rejuvenate your lady parts and make sex just a bit more comfortable and enjoyable. It's perfect for personal use or use with a partner, and the best part is that it doesn't even have to be used during sex. It can also be used as a personal moisturizer on a daily basis. Finally, a company that understands that the female body isn't just a sex machine!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The lubricant itself is thinner than some, which I prefer. Thick, sticky ones aren't as easy or clean to use. Satin only takes a few drops, though, and then you're good to go. A little goes a long way, so it only takes about a dime sized amount to properly moisturize, whether for sex or just comfort. It has a light scent, which almost smells like just nature. It's not easily identifiable, but it's rather nice and doesn't assault the nose.

Taste / Aroma

It has a light smell and light Aloe taste to it, which is pleasant and not overpowering. I have only tasted it experimentally, but it wouldn't be too bad during oral sex.

Performance

Satin is a winning lubricant. It lasts much longer than any other, and has a soft feel to it that doesn't get sticky or feel like residue after a period of time. It really does resemble a woman's natural lubricant, and works exactly as it was intended. I have yet to find any fault with it. Even the bottle is pleasing to look at.

Personal comments

Personally I'm not a very dry female, so I thought that I wouldn't have very much use for this stuff, but I've found that it really helps to offset that initial painful thrusting at the beginning of au naturale sex before the vaginal lips and penis are fully wetted. It makes it much more bearable from beginning to end, and after clean up (whether by shower or after-sex wipes) it doesn't leave any weird stickiness or funky feel. I have even started applying a tiny bit when I get out of the shower just for my own personal comfort. Aside from the female aide part, it seriously rocks as a standalone lubricant. It's the only one I use for toy play or with a partner now. Sliquid has always held the standard in lubricant. At this point, they're only raising their own bar.

Follow-up commentary I still like it 3 days after original review

Ack! Someone reminded me in the comments that I forgot to mention that the lube is water based. Whoops. I don't know what I was thinking. I also completely forgot to mention that it's organic and completely vegan. It's also hypoallergenic and paraben-free. Good stuff! I use it daily and have for about 2 months, and still have no complaints!
