We Definitely Vibed

This toy is fantastic for couples, and especially for women that need more than just standard penetration during intercourse to get off. It removes the need for an awkward hand down south during penetration and pleasures both parties. Because of its shape, it isn't particularly useful for other ares of the body and doesn't fit well as an anal/vaginal stimulator. Instead, the We-Vibe focuses on what it's built to do - vaginal and clitoral stimulation for her.

Straight out of the box, the We-Vibe gives the impression that it is a quality toy. It's smooth, odorless, and completely not porous. The materials used are completely safe. The texture of the toy is smooth in most places, but bumpy in the places that you want it to be.

Considering that the We-Vibe, more than most toys, needs to cater to a variety of girths and sizes, it does a fantastic job. I found myself wishing that it was poseable, but the lack of this feature has never been sorely missed. It's certainly small enough to take with you anywhere and could even be used in public due to its size and handy remote.

Getting used to using it during intercourse takes some practice, but who really minds a few extra goes when you're having so much fun? Getting the angle right is what takes practice, but once you've felt the right angle, you won't ever forget it. In the heat of the moment, it takes a second to sort out which end is which, usually solved by looking for the small bump used for control at the top of the clitoral end.

The control design on the We-Vibe is intuitive and works well considering how much of it is exposed during use. A small, unobtrusive button at the top of the clitoral portion rotates through the settings and turns the toy off and on. It sacrifices fine control in strength for simplicity. I don't mind this and would rather have fewer (incredible) options, than more options that come with the cost of needing to fiddle around with 2 or 3 buttons to get what I want.

There are times when I wish that the vibration was a little stronger, but I don't find myself frustrated with it. A stronger vibe comes with more noise, and the We-Vibe is at a reasonable sound level verging on a little too loud. The g-spot end of the We-Vibe is very thin and, taking this into account, puts out a fair amount of power. It's blown away by the clitoral end, however, which is much stronger.

The We-Vibe recharges quickly in it's dock/case and charges through induction (I'll admit to playing around with that for a while, it's actually pretty cool). No port means no nooks and crannies that need cleaning, and I'm all for that. The case's lid fits a little too snugly to be closed up after every use, but you can rest assured that it won't pop open when you take it traveling.

Because there's no charging port, the We-Vibe is the toy for those that place a premium on sanitary toys: no nooks and carries to scrub at! It's non-porous and easy to clean with warm water and soap.

Because it's made of silicone, it cannot be used with silicone lube. Because it's a toy that requires lube (and can lead to some unfortunate chafing for him otherwise), picking a good, long-lasting, water-based lube is key.

I keep mine in its charging cradle in the nightstand drawer, lid off and ready to go at a moment's notice.
