Bamboo lounge pants - lounge pants discontinued by Male Power - review by Breas

The Bamboo Lounge Pants by Male Power are available in the colours teal or black. I have the black pants and my partner has the teal pants. The sizes available are size S-XL in the colour black and M-XL in the colour teal. My partner has the teal coloured pants in size XL and I have the pants in black in size XL. My partner had purchased the pants first and when he made me feel them, I knew I had to have a pair for myself.



The pants arrived in a rectangular cardboard box. The front of the box has a photo of a male model wearing the pants and states the company name, product name, and size. The back of the packaging has more photos of a model wearing the pants, both a back view and a front view. It also states a bunch of features, material composition, care instructions, and company website. You could use the packaging for storing the pants or just keep them in a drawer. The packaging can be recycled.

Inside of the box, the pants are folded inside of a plastic bag. The pants had a cardboard tag attached to them when they had arrived. The front of the tag states the company logo and a photo of a model wearing the pants. The back of the tag states product features and the company website.



The pants are 95% bamboo and 5% lycra. The material is light, opaque, and extremely soft. It is extremely stretchy in both width and length. The packaging states a variety of features of the pants, due to them being made of bamboo. A few include being antibacterial, thermo control for warm and cold climates, and being ideal for sensitive or allergy prone skin.

I’ve taken a few measurements of the pants laying flat, not stretched. If you need any additional measurements, please send me a message and I will get them for you.

Waistband unstretched: 16 inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 40 inches
Length of pants (down side): 42 inches
Length of crotch area (top of waistband to bottom of crotch): 13 inches
Width at bottom of pant length: 10 inches

The waistband is elastic. The elastic is fairly thick and approximately 1 ¼ inches in length. The elastic is black in colour and has the Male Power logo all over it. You can see from the measurements that I had provided above that the waistband is very, very stretchy. There is a pocket on each side of the pants.



My partner has had his teal pants for much longer than I have had the black pair. He really loves them because they are comfortable and really soft. His exact words were, “they are the lightest, softest, more comfortable pants I’ve ever had… and they are extremely breathable”. He actually wants to eventually get a black pair too.

My partner wears a size L or XL depending on the make. He purchased the XL pants and they fit him nicely. I also purchased the size XL. Both my partner and I probably could have fit into the medium because of how stretchy the waistband is but we both like lounge pants that are freakishly loose.

I had planned on taking photos of both my partner and I wearing our pants but the material is so thin that the outline and bulge of his penis was really showing. This isn’t a big deal for him when he’s just hanging out around the house but he wouldn’t wear them out in public, nor would he want photos of it on the Internet. I’ve included photos of myself wearing the black pair though.



I’m 5’6 in height and have 41 inch hips. You can see in the front view photo above that the length is really long on me. I’m basically walking on the lower half of the pants. My partner is probably around 5’8 in height and he has the same issue. If you or your partner is shorter than my height, you (or they) may find them too long.

I can’t stress enough how stretchy the waistband is. I could probably fit two of me into these pants. That being said, if you’re larger than a size XL, you could fit into the pants. I can also pull the pants all the way above my chest. The crotch of the pants hangs quite low.



I find the pants really comfortable because they are loose, which is how my both my partner and I like our lounge pants. The care tag states that the pants can be machine washed in cold water and tumble dried on cool. The pants should not be bleached. The pants do not shrink. Both my partner and I give the pants a 5 out of 5. We are very happy with them! I just wish they had other colours so we could collect them all!
