Bamboo lounge pants by Male Power - review by Dalra

Pandas must never get constipated, because these bamboo pants are crazy smooth! Try these out this summer and keep yourself comfortable on those unbearably hot nights.

I am 5'9", 135lbs and reviewing these pants in size small.

The first thing that you will notice about these pants (other than the ostentatious box) is the soft feel of the bamboo fabric. This is definitely what sets these pants apart from a pair of pajamas that you could pick up for ten bucks at Target. The fabric is light, breathable and keeps you cool and dry.

I can compare these favorably to Cool Nights pajamas by Soma Intimates, which are specifically formulated to be moisture wicking and keep you from sweating uncomfortably on hot summer nights. The nice thing about these lounge pants over those pajamas is that bamboo is a natural fiber. The unfortunate reality is that these lounge pants will last through far fewer washings than the rayon-based Cool Nights, but I will be washing them in cold on a gentle cycle and drying on cool heat, which should help to maximize their lasting time.

The thing that I dislike the most about these pants is the chunky elastic waistband at the top. It seems that they could have done a much nicer job if they had embedded the elastic within the fabric so that it wasn't sitting directly on your skin. The waistband does have a good amount of stretch, it's just a little bit ugly.

These pants are very long, especially so above the crotch, so you can wear them comfortably low and keep things moving freely, I imagine. This is great because they suit my long legs.

These pants are manufactured by the brand Male Power, which is not one that I am familiar with, and they seem to be quite well-made. They are available in four sizes, small to extra large, and seem to run a bit small based on what you would expect from men's pants.

While they aren't quite as cheap as Target pjs, they aren't as expensive as something like the Cool Nights line either. With Eden discounts, these fall within the very reasonable "less than thirty" price range.
I got these as a gift from a friend, who explained to me that she writes reviews and so I decided to give it a try.
