Darker than what???

As a person who likes to read all the books in a series I read this as the second book, however I was not impressed with it and do not think it lived up to the hype at all. For me it was a quick read and did not hold my attention very well.

Content / Style / Audience

The second book in the "50 Shades of Grey" series continues with the theme of BDSM. This book is a lot more "vanilla" than the first book. It follows the story line started in the first book but does not have the level of BDSM or any kind of sex in it. This book could be read by anyone that enjoys a romance to those looking for erotica. I think it falls more under the category of a heavy romance.

I still do not like this book, and I don't foresee that changing anytime in the future. I will not be rereading it for any reason.

    As I said, please consider looking into the Mentor Program, your review is a little hallow of details. You've mentioned some good points, but did not support why you feel that way.

    You mentioned "not have the level of BDSM", what level? Compared to the first book? Or as compared to other BDSM style of book?

    That is just an example.

Please check out my review of this book and the others to get an idea of how to do a book review This just doesn't tell anything that one couldn't guess without reading any of the books and just hearing about it from someone or somewhere.
