Not my favorite book of the series

Overall, this was a good book. It was not as great as book one, but still a decent read. If you're into a LOT of sex, then this book is for you.
Published:
Pros
It continued the story of Christian and Ana.
Cons
Way too much sex for me. Every other page felt like it was sex.

somewhat useful review
Fifty Shades Darker isn't my favorite book of the series. It does continue with the story of Christian and Ana and how their relationship grows. I found myself skipping a lot of the sex scenes, but I will say that the book kept me wanting more even though I skipped a lot of pages. It's not centered around the BDSM so much in this book, but they have a few scenes with it, although Christian is becoming more vanilla. The book isn't just about their relationship, but rather it goes into his life a little and her starting her career.

They also learn more about each other and he becomes more open than what he used to be. Ana has opened his eyes, and he has opened hers, as well. In this book, Ana tries to find out more about Christian's past. He does open up a little bit, and his past comes back and haunts him. Christian becomes more controlling and protective of Ana. He's the type of guy that you want to drool over and then slap because of his actions and the way he treats Ana sometimes. He's just an ass and all kinds of fucked up.

Even though this isn't my favorite book of the series, I do suggest in reading it. The book will help add to the last book in the series. I read some parts of this book to my husband and it got him pretty excited, as it did for me. I loved sharing this book with him. I recommend not giving up on the series - just push through it. The ending is so exciting and you will want to start the third one right away. Also a lot of things happen between them that you want to know more about.

Good bit of information. The more I hear about these books, the more I DON'T want to read them. Lol. I would probably get angry just reading about that douche bag boyfriend. Hee Hee. I am glad that you enjoyed it a little. Maybe the third will be more satisfying? I hope so. I agree, that much sex would end up boring me.
