Diamond lip gloss - lip gloss discontinued by Cake Beauty - review by apryls

A girl can never have too much lip gloss right? Right. So I decided to try the Diamond lip gloss by Cake. I thought I would go with the Pink Icicle. It looked light and neutral for the days I didn't want too much color.

Packaging

There is no packaging just the lip-gloss. The actual part that has the lip gloss in it is 2 1/2' long but the whole thing with the lid is 4 1/4' long, not bad you could still put it in your clutch or pocket when you go out.





First Impression

The lip gloss container is clear so you can see the gloss. The Pink Icicle is a pale pink with glitter or sparkles in it. Now I don't mind this, but this isn't something you can see from the pictures online. The lid is silver and the whole thing is done in plastic. It has a sticker going over it with white writing Cake, 0.4oz and the ingredients but it's very hard to read.

Taste/Smell

It says online vanilla creme but I think it tastes and smells like a vanilla cupcake! Not a bad thing as my hubby loves anything vanilla so he will be chasing me once he tastes this!

Overall Impression

I really like it. It has a nice angled applicator which holds the gloss on it when you use it. I find that with my full lips I need to apply it three times before they covered the way I like it, but the gloss has a nice thick consistency which lasts a long time. The Pink Icicle was a perfect match as far as a neutral tone for my lips, so when I wear it all you see is the glistening of the sparkles on wet shiny lips. My hubby loves it as well. When I wear it he just gets this devilish look in his eyes. I mine as well put it on my nipples for him LOL

I still love this lip gloss, but I don't use it all the time since my hubby is so fond of it. I keep it for bedroom play.
