While the pale pink color of this pouf will most likely appeal more to women than men, it can be used by people of any gender. I suggest this product for everyday use, as it is sturdy and well-made and will help you to achieve smooth, soft skin. This product is especially useful in the winter, or at any other time when your skin is especially dry, as it will slough away dead skin.

This pouf is porous, and if pressed against your skin it will feel slightly rough, but not at all scratchy. I was pleased that it did not irritate my skin at all, as I have very delicate skin that is scraped easily. The cute ribbon, in place of the loop of rope usually found on cheaper poufs, allows you to hang this product from a hook or bath faucet when not in use. While I expected the ribbon to fray after several uses, I was pleasantly surprised to find it still intact and as adorable as ever after over twenty uses. This product is very easy to grip, and you will not have to worry about dropping it even if it is soaked with body wash!

This product has no scent or flavor, which is great if you like to use scented body wash (like I do!).

So far, this product has survived over twenty uses without any deterioration or damage, and is much softer than my cheaper poufs from Target while still getting the job done. As mentioned above, I had doubts about the structural integrity of the loop of ribbon, but it has held up extremely well! Unfortunately, it does not have a slight purple tint after I used a dark purple body wash (oops!) but that was my own fault, and not an issue on the part of the product - and luckily the lavender tint matches the pouf's light pink color very nicely. This pouf can be cleaned easily by running it through your dishwasher (on the top rack, of course!). Avoid washing it in a washing machine, as it can become stretched out or otherwise lose its shape. However, as it is basically a vehicle for soap, it is not likely to become very dirty as long as you rinse it after each use.
