Shower pouf - sponge discontinued by Principessa Beauty - review by Beautiful-Disaster

The shower pouf is used to exfoliate your skin while you bathe. A regular wash cloth may be softer on your skin but shower poufs help take away old dead skin cells.

I wouldn't use this on a sun burn or sensitive skin since this may be a little too rough for some. This would make a nice gift with body wash or any other kind of soap. After my young niece saw mine, she wants me to get her one of her own. She's only fascinated with the pretty pink color and how it says "Principessa". She feels like it's a shower pouf for princesses.

This shower pouf is a little rough. I'm usually used to soft poofy shower poufs. I like to think there's a plus side to such roughness. It's not extremely rough. It does have a soft side but it's not as soft as most poufs out there that you can buy at regular stores. With it being a little rough I know it's scrubbing away my dead skin cells.

The size of this is also smaller than most shower poufs. Again, I was expecting something large and poofy but that's not what I got. Its a small clump of mesh making it easy to trap and lather your body wash.

When I had first smelled the shower pouf it smelled like anything else that's brand new and never before used. I'm not quite sure if it tasted like anything because I wasn't about to lick it. It now smells like my new body wash that smells like a raspberry pastry. I'm pretty sure it also tastes like soap now.

This shower pouf by Princessipa Beauty performs very well for me. I wasn't quite sure that it would work very well looking at how small it was. Because it is thick and the mesh is bunched together, it holds my body wash very well and lathers it up nicely.

It's a little on the rough and hard side but has a little softness to it. I know that with the rough feeling, it's washing away my dead skin cells and also exfoliating my skin. Paired with a fabulous body wash, this leaves me feeling very soft and smooth.

I don't want you to think it's extremely rough like sand paper. That is definitely not the case. It's just not as soft and large like a lot of poufs.
