Shower pouf - sponge discontinued by Principessa Beauty - review by EnChAnTiNg

I always use a pouf when I am in the shower. I hate washrags because they do not lather up and they do not do a good job of exfoliating. I used to always buy my poufs from the store (ie. Shopko, Walmart, etc). They were extremely cheap, and I figured a pouf was a pouf, no difference between them. A friend of mine ordered this pouf for me as part of my Christmas present this past year, and I must say that I was very surprised at the difference between this and a store-bought pouf.

The thing I hate most about regular poufs is that they always end up coming undone. By this, I mean that the string that holds them together always loosens up, and then you just have a 30 foot line of mesh. This usually happens about a month after owning it. This pouf is held together much better, and I do not see any unraveling in the near future. I have been using it for over a month, and it is holding up great.

It also exfoliates much better than store-bought poufs. It is still very soft and very comfortable to use, but at the same time it has just enough texture to exfoliate your skin. It lathers up fantastically, and will save you money in the long run because you use about half the soap you would if you were not using a pouf. I also love the handle string it has. It is actually very feminine, rather than a mini piece of rope like the store-bought ones.

My overall opinion, yes; this pouf is a bit pricier than a store-bought pouf, but well worth it. It lasts much longer than the $2.00 store-bought poufs, it looks more feminine, and it exfoliates much better.

Still love these poufs. They hold up great and they exfoliate great! I recommend ordering a few at a time so you do not have to worry about not having any on hand.
