Secret garden enhancing cream - cream discontinued by Shunga Erotic Art - review by markeagleone

OK, to be perfectly honest with you, I read the great reviews on this product and I had to have it for my wife. At first, she was a bit hesitant to use it, but I finally got my way. On to the review:

Shunga Jardin Secret Garden is made by Shunga. It is a product of Canada. The term Shunga means erotic art in Japanese.

This particular product is made to increase blood flow to the clitoris. It is made from edible ingredients, so there is no holds barred on this one.

This product can be used by any woman, beginners and advanced alike. The only women that should steer clear are women who are pregnant and women that have an STD, particularly genital herpes.

Jardin Secret Garden has a very smooth texture to it. It dries completely, without the sense of being sticky. The product, itself, has a slight stickiness to itself. Nothing you can feel, but you can see if you put it on your fingers and pull them apart.

The product does seem like it wants to stay where it is put, although, once it is dispensed, it looks like water. It does not have that characteristic of running to a low point like water. The bottle has to be squeezed to dispense the product. There has to be care taken in dispensing it, because what comes out, will either need to be used or wiped off.

I have to say that the marketing of this product as a cream is head on right. Although it looks like it would not be in that category, because of its appearance being similar to water, it behaves exactly like a cream. It has a thicker than water feel to it, but nowhere near the feel of an oil product.

The product has the slight smell of peppermint. It is not overpowering at all. It reminds me of those peppermint candies used at holiday times or those after dinner mints.

As far as taste, the product does have a strong peppermint taste, but that weakens with time. I would put it in the likeness of peppermint gum. It has a strong zing to it at first, but weakens quite quickly. It is not a discomforting or an irritable taste. I have tried the cream, both on my wife, and straight from the bottle. I would not hesitate to taste it again.

The other nice feature to this product, is that once the taste is gone in your mouth, it is gone. There is no aftertaste left over. It also has the benefit that there is no sticky feeling left over. It completely disappears. The smell also seems to fade as the product evaporates and is absorbed.

This particular product does not need to be washed off. If too much has been dispensed or applied, a towel will do for clean-up.

This product is to be applied and massaged into the clitoris. It is to be applied once a day to achieve the desired affects. It may take up to three days, in some women, to work. Don't be disappointed if on first application, the affect doesn't show itself, or last long enough for your satisfaction.

The best thing about this product is that it has to be massaged into the clitoris. The reason I say that, from my perspective, is that it already begun that stimulating effect on her, just being applied. It is not a pill or a potion that has no stimulating effect being taken.

The other nice thing about this product is that it is a clear liquid. You do not have to worry about stains or immediate spill clean-up. It evaporates and absorbs into the skin quite fast.

That is why it may take up to three days for some women to get the benefits from it. I have to say that I do recommend using it at the special time, though. It is not to be used by pregnant women or women that have a STD, particularly genital herpes. The other side states that is Jardin "Secret" Garden, female orgasm enhancing cream. The back states that you can use it for your own pleasure or with a partner.

The box is 2 1/16 inches wide by 1 inch deep and 4 1/8 inches in height. It has a seperate top and bottom, which make storing the bottle inside quite easy.

The bottle is also quite small. It contains 1 fluid ounce. It has a twist lid and a small applicator/dispenser. The bottle has to be slightly squeezed to dispense. The shape of the bottle I would say looks like a small suntan lotion bottle. It is black in color.

Instructions for use are on the bottle. Apply to the clitoral region, taking time to massage underneath the clitoris. It states that certain women can feel the affects immediately, others may take three applications, one application on three consecutive days. It also restates the warnings and also says if irritation occurs, discontinue use.

It also comes with an insert talking about the history and other products in their line. Although Shunga is marketed as Japanese, its country of origin is Canada.

This is where I have chosen to speak about ingredients. The ingredients are Water, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, L-Arginine HCL, L-Ornithine HCL, Hydroxy ethyl Cellulose, Domiana Extract(Tunera Aphrodisiaca Extract), Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Peppermint Oil, Capsicum O.R. and Tocopherol(Vitamin E).

L-Arginine HCL. is a non-essential amino Acid. It is shown to increase cell repair and decrease blood pressure if ingested. It is also shown to help erectile dysfunction if taken with other specific chemicals.It aids in vasodilation(the widening of blood vessels).

L-Ornithine is a center point of the urea cycle(removal of nitrogen).

Capsicum O.R. is a chemical derived from the nightshade family. It causes a slight burning sensation on ingestion(pepper type). It is used as a circulatory stimulant, which increases blood flow to a specific area.

All in all, the combination of these ingredients increase blood flow and widen blood vessels to the clitoris. As the directions for use state, it may happen upon first use, or may take up to three days using the product once a day.

As I stated before, I ordered this product for my wife. I knew she was not pregnant and is free from all STD's. I wanted her to have the biggest orgasm possible.

The nice thing about this product was on the night she tried it, she woke me from sleeping for a great, passionate love making session. This is where I had my first hand experience with this product.

The container was opened and the smell took me a bit off guard. Due to its name, I was expecting a overpowering botanical scent. Instead, it was a pleasant "minty" smell. I realized that this certain scent gave me a calming effect filled with memories of grandma's candy bowl or special Christmas Hot Chocolate she made with candy cane stir sticks.

Upon dispensing the Secret Garden Cream, the cream had more of a consistency of a thin gel. Personally, this is a bonus to me. It was not thick like some creams and it was not thin enough to lose control of by having it leak through my fingers.

According to my husband, he assumed that the first night was my first application of the cream. Unfortunately, he is not aware that I had tried the cream the night before with no arousing effects. Since the cream did mention that for some women it may take up to three days to benefit from the desired effect of the cream, I did apply it again the next night.

This second night was the application I needed. I only have to use a small dollop of this cream. I would say the size of a small sweet pea is enough to get the desired effect once you begin to react to it.

This is not what I experienced, I began feeling a cooling effect. However, after only a short time I was increasingly becoming aroused. My husband was already mentioned what happened next.

The cooling effect was not long-lasting. It lasted only 20 minutes or so before I could no longer feel the cooling sensations, but the arousal was still very evident. Reapplication of this cream might be necessary for some women, although I did not need to have it reapplied.

After our session, I had no immediate urge to clean up, there was no residue left behind. Nor did I feel tacky or sticky after any usage of this cream. The cream will last for some time, especially since only a small amount is needed for each application. We will be replacing this again and will be a staple "must-have" on hand product in our collection.
