Kissing balm - edible treats by Sensuous Beauty - review by SecretToyLover2

Amazing. That is all.

Great for everyone. Totally recommend this! I haven't tried the other flavor, but Honey Rose has got me totally hooked! Absolutely love this stuff and I am going to die if EdenFantasys ever stops carrying it!
All-natural, Smooth, Goes a long way, Tastes great, Doesn't sit on lips, Good for those with acne
Smells a little weird (But nothing to really complain about)

extremely useful review
I bought this balm months ago, eager to find something new to moisturize my dry cracked lips. The weather in Texas changes so rapidly that your lips can really take a beating - especially when you are kissing a lot! I really fell in love with this balm because not only is it all-natural, but it also does what it should! It moisturizes your lips and leaves them feeling smooth and soft. No jagged cracks or dry spots. Just beautiful, kissable lips.

I purchased the Honey Rose. Orange doesn't really stand out to me, although I will probably purchase it with my next order just to try it out. It seems to have better ratings on here. The Honey Rose doesn't smell too great because it doesn't smell like much of anything at all. If I could describe the scent, it's like a petroleum jelly smell. Not gross, but not great.

The taste, on the other hand, is a hint of honey. It isn't unpleasant in any way and I actually love it. I didn't think that there would be a sweet honey taste to this balm, but there is. Of course it's not going to be sweet as a lip gloss from your local drugstore, or as sweet as actual honey - but it isn't bitter. It's a more natural mixture of honey and rose petal. I grew up eating rose petals from my mother's garden, so I love the taste. If you find that gross, or think rose petals would be a nasty flavor, you might want to try the orange. If you've never tried rose petals, they taste very light, and taste like they smell. The flavor is definitely organic.

It's a rather smooth balm, sitting in the jar, and it can be scooped out with your finger easily. You don't have to rub around to get your share of balm like most other brands. Fortunately, this stuff moisturizes like magic - So a little bit goes a really long way. This means that your little tub has the potential to last you months and months. I still have mine, 1/3 full, after four months. That should give you a good example. There is 0.5 oz of product in your jar.

The balm is a little gritty looking on your fingers. It does not exfoliate, but if you were to look at it, you'd think it had sugar in it. I know this is due to the fact that it is not made by a large company, and is not blended for three days straight. Touching the balm, it is actually very smooth and blends into your skin easily, leaving no residue. It doesn't sit on the lips like most balms. For example, if you've ever used a chapstick that sits on the skin, rather than absorbs, you will find that later after an hour or so, it starts to dry out and get sticky. Well, for those of you, like me, who hate that... Don't worry because this stuff is the exact opposite. The moisture runs deep instead of giving you a sticky mess on your face.

The jar itself is made of thick glass, and the cap is black and made of plastic. There is a sticker on the top that has the website ( ), the title of the balm, the flavor, the company's address, and phone number if you wish to contact them. It looks a bit like someone printed it off at their own home (aside from being glossed), but I really liked that about this brand. I know that it's from a company that isn't HUGE. Makes me feel more secure with what I'm using.

There is also a label around the edge of the jar that is pretty much identical to the one on the lid, but it is obviously more lengthy and spread out. Says all the same stuff, plus the ingredients.

Organic coconut oil
Almond oil
Shea butter
Natural beeswax
Real honey
Vegetable glycerine
Vitamin E oil
Alkanet root
Organic Bulgarian rose otto
I recommend this to any woman, or even man, who has a struggle with keeping their lips moisturized. Although it's a bit pricey, this tub is going to last you a very long time and it will be worth every penny you spent! It works just like magic... You'd think Harry Potter cast a spell on your lips!

I like to apply this each night before bed, as my lips tend to get most dry overnight. I also use it on days like yesterday when we experience extremely cold rain storms... My lips get so dry when the temperature drops here.

If you plan to use this underneath a lipstick, I would avoid doing so. I doesn't seem to be too compatible with the lipsticks that I own unless I use it over top of the lipstick. It works better that way - I wish I could explain why, but I'm not that much of a professional with cosmetics.

It doesn't make me break out in acne around my lips, which is really awesome. I suppose it's because of the natural and non-greasy ingredients. So this is also great for anyone who has acne and gets easily affected by lip glosses and balms. This stuff will not bother you!

I have mild but frequent cold sores, so it's important that I moisturize my lips. My doctor said that many non-organic lip balms can upset cold sores even more. That's when I looked to this product. I have noticed less frequent cold sores and less severe cold sores. I suppose that is due to the beeswax and honey, and of course the organic qualities of this balm.

Love and will always love this product. The natural aspect of it is wonderful (organic) and it is great for those winter chapped lips!
