extremely useful review
This toy cleaner from LELO comes to you in a swanky box, which contains an even more swanky looking spray bottle. The front of this bottle is clearly labeled as a product of LELO and an Antibacterial Cleaning Spray. The bottle resembles a perfume bottle more than a toy cleaner container you would usually see. There is even an expiration date on the bottom of the box and bottle, which I personally had not seen before on a toy cleaner. It also has an exceptionally long shelf life: mine does not expire until July 2015. The lid for this item is metal and the bottle itself is white plastic. This bottle is small enough that it could be taken with you on the go, in either a purse or overnight bag without taking up much space.

This toy cleaning spray has an easy to use push pump top that makes application to toys a breeze. The bottle also contains easy to read and understand directions on the back. For use, simply apply to toy, leave on for 5 seconds, and then wipe the cleaner off with a (lint-free) towel. The directions even state that there is no need to rewash or even rinse after cleaning with this spray, which comes in handy whether you are in a hurry or just don't want to spend a lot of time cleaning your toys.

There is one small thing that concerns me about this toy cleaner. The directions on the back state that this cleaner is safe to use with latex, silicone, and rubber toys, but those are all that it includes. It does not say "Do not use on..." or "Not safe for use on...", but it does only include those 3 materials as being safe for use on. I have tried this toy cleaner on both my glass "Ribbed Twister" and metal "Dai-Do #6" and saw no damage and had no issues using it on those surfaces.

When spraying into the air, this toy cleaner spray's mist appears to be nothing more extravagant than a perfume or body mist. When spraying onto your skin or a toy, the difference can easily be seen; this mist turns into a white sudsy looking enigma. After spraying it on, I have touched it to see how it felt, and it reminded me of soapy water. Both while touching it on the toy and rubbing my fingers together after touching it, it feels mildly slick. After being wiped away, my toys did not feel any different than before.

This spray does have a very light and subtle smell, one which you wouldn't notice existed until you smelled it up close and personal. It is not a smell I can quite put my finger on: it is not feminine or masculine, and doesn't smell bad at all. If I had to label the smell, it would be a clean smell, but not a cleaning agent type smell. This smell is left on your toy, but very lightly.

Follow-up commentary
I still think this toy cleaning spray is a great choice for anyone who uses toys. It is effective, easy to use, and cleans up quickly. I have had this cleaner for about 4 months now and still have about half of the bottle left to use. I have never experienced this spray having any kind of reaction on a toy and think it is safe to use on virtually any kind of toy.

Also, I am still well pleased with the discreet design of the bottle. I store this spray in my bathroom for cleaning toys after shower play.

The "safe to use on"... but no "do not use on" freaks me out. It's MY luck that I'll be ruining toys left and right. If we're lucky, this stuff makes jelly toys disappear.
