The best use for this product might vary from user to user. In my opinion, it's best used sexually. Used as a regular massager, it can be somewhat painful to sensitive skinned users in some areas. Sexually, it's a great stimulator for ones breasts, clitoris, and anus.

The vibrations are so powerful that it will stimulate other body parts while you're focusing on a certain one. For example, while vibrating on your clit, the vibrations can actually travel to your anus and thighs, to give you all around stimulation, and a relaxing feel.

Also, if you can do it, it's great for your g-spot. It makes the orgasm more powerful if you can fit the head into your vagina. I know it sounds like "ouch!", but for people who like bigger toys, it's wonderful! The vibrations really hits home!

This toy is perfect for anyone who likes a powerful stimulation. It was pretty much my first vibrator, and it's one of my favorites today. So, it's good for beginners, and it's a lot of fun for experienced users. Also, it's amazing for couples -- spice it up in the bedroom, and get the most out of your orgasms! Your partner will love the soft vibrations that it gives him, as well. It can be used in any position you, or your partner, can think of. The body is long enough to reach from any position, and the 6ft long cord gives you enough slack to move around with.

I'm not too impressed with the material. Seeing as how it's meant to be a muscle massager, it's not very gentle on the vagina. The body is made of hard plastic, which is easy to grip while using it. The head, on the other hand, is in the middle of feeling hard and somewhat squishy. You can see "spider leg" cracks all over it, and it's rough to the touch -- especially when using it sexually. When using it on the vagina, it doesn't take long to irritate and redden the skin, so it can be painful. On the anus, it feels excellent, since the anus is less sensitive that the vagina. You should just be prepared for A LOT of vibrating!

Also, there is a lined ridge that runs across the middle of the head. I actually don't see a point in this. When turned on, you don't even know it's there, so I don't know the function of it is.

As for odor and taste of the material, its very light. The head just smells like normal plastic, and there is no smell to the body. To me, there is no taste what so ever.

The design of the wand actually really impressed me. The entire massager is a foot long. The two speed switch is located in the middle of the body. I love where this switch is, and how long the wand is; it gives my hands enough room to grip, without hitting the switch by accident during use. Also, the size of the wand really helps it to reach body parts easily from ANY position, without any strain. The size is definitely great for beginners who just want to get the feel of a powerful massager. It's also wonderful for advanced users who want a little more variety with their toys. This toy also does not stimulate one specific area -- the vibrations are powerful enough that it stimulates a wide area around what you're targeting.

The Hitachi's weight is 1.28 lbs, so it's not that heavy. It's easy to hold and use. Most of the weight is in the 2.5" head, which is one piece and cannot be removed.

Although it is too big to fit in a purse and walk around with, you can easily store it in suitcases for travel. It's perfect for vacation time, but it's not easy to hide unless you have something big to put it in.

There are only two functions for this wand. A low and high settings, ranging from 5,000 and 6,000 rpms (revolutions per minute). What I mean by revolutions per minute is, under the rubber cover that is the head, there is a ball that spins very fast that makes the head vibrate.

I really wish that there were more settings, but being the way it is, it honestly gets the job done. There's no need for batteries, and you don't have to charge it, so it's ready to use whenever I want. I never have to worry about it dying while I'm using it.

The vibrations stay at a constant speed in each function. The low function is the best, in my opinion. If you have sensitive skin like I do, the high setting can really irritate you quickly. The lower setting is more relaxing, and really brings out the eye closing "ooo, ahhh" in your personal time. When holding the Hitachi, the entire toy vibrates. You have a light vibrating in your hands on the body, and a very intense vibration in the head.

The controls are very easy to use. You just plug it in, and push down on either side of the switch for the function most comfortable to you. To turn it off, just press the the opposite side halfway, so that the switch returns to the middle and even position.

Also, the toy is very noisy. It's the loudest toy I have. However, it doesn't interrupt getting to your orgasm, or wake anyone up, or bother anyone, unless you're right beside them.

The Hitachi is very easy to take care of. The head is scratch resistant, so you don't have to necessarily be gentle. Any type of toy cleaner, or soap and water, will keep this part white and clean. I've had my Hitachi for 6 months, and I haven't had any problems with the body getting dirty, since it is smooth plastic. If it does get dirty somehow, just take a damp rag with toy cleaner, or water, and work around the spot that's dirty. Be careful not to get around the function switch, and dry it with a clean cloth. I've used 5 different types of toy cleaners to clean it with different ingredients, so I believe that any type of cleaner is safe.

To store it, first make sure your Hitachi is clean after use. Fold the cord, or wrap it around the body -- how you might store your hair dryer, for instance. You can store it on a shelf, in your closet, under your bed, in a drawer, or pretty much anywhere you want. Personally, I have a sleeve to put it in so that bugs or mice can't get around it, and then I store it in my night stand.

This texture of this massager is great for most toys but might be rough for some. I've used it with one of my glass dildos and wound up breaking the tip off of it when it hit the ridge in the middle of the Hitachi head. For lubes, it doesn't matter what kind of lubricant base you're using, every type is okay. In my opinion, it makes the texture of the head more soothing, and less rough.

The wand is packaged in a regular semi-hard cardboard box, the same length as the toy. It can be used as a great gift, gag gift, and of course you can put your Hitachi back in it when not in use. There were enough instructions that came with it, but sadly I was too excited to pay attention and just threw them away. Be sure to pay attention to them, as it might give a lot more care instructions than what I can give you.

I love multi-tasking with this toy! Because it's so powerful, it works great with my other toys! Using a dildo, and this to stimulate the clit at the same time really makes the orgasm more powerful.

My experience with this toy has been great! Although I've had trouble with fast irritation, it's very fun to play with, and it's wonderful as a vibrator. My fiance has a great time playing with it too, knowing it really helps me get off in a big way. Also, the vibrations are exciting for him, as well.

As I mentioned earlier in the review, the head can actually be inserted vaginally or anally. There is an extreme vibration when you do this, since its held and closed in by the walls of your anus or vagina. You don't need an attachment to do this, just a lot of lube! This can be dangerous, especially to small framed people like me, so please, if you want to try it... do it with caution, and take it slow. I don't, however, recommend it. I definitely wouldn't recommend it being done anally. I haven't done it, but I have seen it done by another model and it wasn't pretty... before OR after. Vaginally, it can be painful, but being a cam girl I do things to try and draw in a big crowd, but I never do anything I can't handle, or that I know would hurt me. But then again, a lot of people like large toys. If you're one of them, try it, you might like it.
