Eden toy and body wipes - wipes discontinued by EdenFantasys - review by meezerosity

As a free with any purchase gift, these are excellent wipes. The package is small for the price if you are buying them but since you can get them as a freebie as well I think they are worth it. Perfect for wiping off toys before and after use or cleaning yourself up after sex/masturbation, they come in a convenient plastic package that seals shut so the wipes do not dry out. The ingredients are Water, Chlorhexidine, Glycerin, Aloe Extract, Vitamin E, and Tea Tree Oil. As someone with chemical and product sensitivities I was pleased with the minimal ingredients but the glycerin content threw me off a bit. I'm sensitive to glycerin in lubes so I only use these as post-use clean up with toys if I don't feel like getting up to give them a proper soap and water wash or wasting all my toy cleaner so quickly. I go through a lot of toy cleaner since I live with relatives and don't want them accidentally discovering me washing my toys in the sink.

The packaging was not at all discreet, it clearly has the Eden Fantasys name printed on the package and says that they are sex toy and body wipes. I would have appreciated a bit more of a discreet package if I had intended to keep these handy in my purse for personal hygiene on the go. Alas I can't use them for that as the glycerin would irritate me.

The smell was not unpleasant, it smelled just how you would expect a cleansing wipe to smell. Slightly chemical but not overpowering and a bit minty from the tea tree oil. I did not taste test the wipes since the product info states they are unflavored and I had no reason to taste them. If you are using these to clean up the anal region of a partner before engaging in analingus I don't think they would taste unpleasant but you can always wipe down with water as well if you are worried about an aftertaste.

No residue was left behind when I wiped it on my skin nor was it left on any of the toys I tried it on. I tested it out on various materials to see how it reacted. Glass, silicone, jelly, latex, rubber, and plastic were all fine. I haven't tested it on leather yet but these would be handy to wipe down a leather harness after use as well.

One special feature is that they are anti-microbial. I do have an issue with the product information on the page stating they are hypo-allergenic. This is not true. If you are sensitive to glycerin, be wary of wiping down your genitals with them. For me personally, glycerin leads to an almost instant yeast infection. I am a very sensitive individual when it comes to product irritants though, some who have reactions to glycerin in lubes may be fine with using these. Always test the product out before using it just to be on the safe side.

I like these wipes. They are handy for wiping off my toys after use if I'm lazy or tired out from a solo session and don't want to get up and wash my toy off but I still give them a rinse or a spritz of toy cleaner for allergen concerns. If there was no glycerin and I weren't sensitive to them I would give 5 stars and order these along with almost every order I place, that is the only downside.

As I expected I went through my wiped pretty fast. 10 really isn't much for the package, I wish they had bigger ones available for purchase. I'll be picking up a pack with almost every order I make, it's definitely my favorite option of the freebies since I don't use cockrings much and wouldn't wear the Tshrts in public, maybe as something to sleep in. Love the wipes though!
