Magic Wand Original - massager by Vibratex - review by Nancy Berardinelli

I'm on my 2nd Hitachi in 1 year. Shortly after buying each one, I had a few of the same defects/issues happen with both. First, the head got very hot after not much time of use and burned my clit. Second, after using the attachments with it sometimes, the whole head began to come off when trying to remove them. This exposed the motor and some sticky electrical tape that seemed to be the only thing keeping the head down. The attachments go on easy and work great, but taking them off can be a real pain and can cause the unit to not perform properly. After the head came partly off, the massager would start spinning around, tangling the cord around it while trying to hold and use it. Also, it makes loud noises, which can be very distracting and annoying.

When cleaning the head, you must be careful not to get water in the unit. I always clean the rubber head with antibacterial soap and hot water. Then, I go over the whole unit with a baby wipe.

This unit really should be made better and improved on all the bad points I mentioned. It really shouldn't come apart so easily or get so hot, especially when it's going to be used on sensitive parts. I will soon advise Hitachi about my experience and try to get mine fixed or replaced.

Aside from these issues, I still highly recommend this wand over its competitors. It has the most powerful and strong vibes, making it very effective in clitoral stimulation and in producing intense and sometimes multiple orgasms. Also, it does an incredible job of stimulating the vagina and G-spot when the correct attachment is used.

I do love this product overall, but I'm just not happy or satisfied with the workmanship and electrical assembly. I do hope Hitachi will listen to the importance of fixing these few issues, so as to make a more pleasureable experience for everyone who buys and uses it.
