Honey Delicious!

This product is a lip balm. And what's great about it is that it doesn't come in your standard "chapstick" form. It comes in a kind of egg-shaped container, which isn't very good for pocket storage but is great for keeping on your bedside table or in your purse.

And maybe I'm weird, but sometimes when I have super dry cuticles, I like to dab a little bit of this right on the cuticle and let it soak in. It helps to keep them from drying out and is a great, quick fix if you're in a pinch. Or if you're terrible at picking at your cuticles, especially when they're dry.

The greatest part about this product, though, is the fact that all the ingredients are natural. I don't see any allergy concerns, unless you do have more specific fruit or oil extract allergies. Being a lip balm, this product is very smooth. What's best is that, unlike a lot of other lip balms or lip treatments, this doesn't have a waxy drag to it. Sometimes when you bring a new lip balm home, the first time you put it on (or every time!) it has a nasty wax coating to it which drags across your lips and makes you feel like you've put a coat on your lips instead of a moisturizer. With the EOS, though, you feel like you're putting something smooth and silky across your lips, and it stays with you for a while.

This stuff smells and tastes amazing! I have tried three of the flavors, and I love them all! I've tried Honeysuckle, Strawberry Sorbet, and Summer Fruit. It's amazing how the smell of these can be subtle yet strong. Instead of being thrown back with an overpowering scent, you have this hint of natural beauty thrown at you. It's much like when you cut into a honeydew melon--you can smell the fruit, it's sweet, but almost veiled.

The taste is another thing. You don't have the chemical aftertaste you get from a lot of lip balms. You know that taste, after you've had it on your lips for a while, that starts to taste kind of funky, almost waxy? This stays with you (unless you're a nail biter/chewer like me, then it transfers to your fingers) until you wash it off or eat.

EOS did its job right when they created this stuff. Not only does it actually moisturize your lips, taste great, and smell good, it isn't something you will have to apply 8 times in an hour to keep your lips feeling velvety smooth.

A lot of other products like this will start to fade away or make your lips feel dry after a certain amount of time. Not only is that annoying, but it can cause over-drying of your lips. Your lips are an important part of your face, whether or not you will be smooching someone. EOS will keep you from applying it over and over again, which can actually make this product last a long time. Not only that, but another pro is that this glides on your lips very smoothly.

I want to make it known that I have NOT ordered this from Eden before. I've bought it in stores like WalMart and Target. The packaging has varied.

The first one I bought about two years ago at WalMart from the check lane. The package was very simple: labeled shrink wrap around the egg/sphere of the lip balm. It had a scored part where you can tear the wrap off, like any other plastic packaging.

The others that I have purchased came with a cardboard backer and were on pegs in Target. They had information on the back of the cardboard, and you could just pull the plastic covering of the lip balm off and start using it.

The product itself has a screw cap, which is pretty awesome because how many times have you lost the cap to your chapstick or lip balm because it popped off in your pocket? It's easy to take off or put back on. The bottom of it is flat, which is super handy for putting on your desk top or even night stand. Mine lives on my night stand and is what I like to put on my lips before going to bed. I don't wake up with a weird taste on my lips and, for the most part, my lips stay moisturized and not dried out.

Because it is in a kind of egg shape, it makes it harder to fit this into your pocket without having an awkward-looking bulge there, but if you carry a purse or makeup bag, it will work great in there without uncomfortable shapes in your pocket.

I'm not a person who actively seeks out natural products. This has mostly been because the natural products tend to be a lot more expensive, and I just cannot always afford it. However, this is one of those things that, no matter what your financial standing is, you might really want to consider.

It has natural ingredients and lasts a very long time. The last time I purchased this product was almost a year ago, and I still have it. It is worn down from its original sphere to a smaller nub, but it's still going strong. The taste, texture, and scent have not changed at all.

I've been using these products off and on for a few years now, and I love them. They are a bit pricey but very worth it. The only reason I've ever had gaps in my use of the product is the ever-present Chapstick Loss Conspiracy. I'll lose it, buy a different product, find my old, lose that, so on and so forth. It's a wonderful addition to your makeup bag, purse, or nightstand.
