Breast Balm comes in a 3 ounce glass jar about 1 3/4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches across. When I got my jar, it took us quite a while to actually open it. The lid was stuck on somehow and we were unable to get it off with hot water or a lid opener. It was pretty difficult to get a grasp on the smooth plastic lid, so both of us were pretty aggravated with it. After a few days of giving it a try every now and then, it finally opened. After getting it opened the first time, the lid has not become stuck again and is pretty easy to remove.
I have dropped this on my carpeted floor a few times without any breaks or cracks in the glass. Since this is a balm, it does not leak at all. The lid seals on tightly so that even if this is dropped in a sink full of water, nothing gets in.
The jar lists the ingredients, instructions for use, and what this product is supposed to do for you. It also includes a 1-800 number and Sensuous Beauty's
web site. The instructions state to rub a small amount onto hands to warm the balm up, and then massage gently into the skin with a circular motion. It also says that this product can be combined with a self-examination of the breasts. Use of this product is supposed to tone, rejuvenate, and soothe breasts.
Ingredients:
Sweet almond oil, wildcrafted Lady's Mantle infusion, beeswax, vitamin E, pure essential oils of rose geranium, organic Bulgarian rose otto and organic labdanum.
As with the rest of Sensuous Beauty's products, this is a 100% natural product and is not tested on animals.
I think the jar is pretty discreet. I leave it sitting on my dresser with some of my other Sensuous Beauty products without anyone really getting up close and inspecting it. My mom pretty much just glanced at it once when she saw it, though she lost any interest in it when she saw a bunch of lubes and stuff sitting on my bedside table. The label design is pretty cute and minimal.
I feel this is discreet and small enough to travel with, though it may need to be wrapped in clothing or bubble wrap to keep the jar from breaking.
