Coochy is a shaving cream specifically made for shaving the nether regions (Aka coochy) but it can be used to shave any part of the body including legs, underarms, face, etc. It is made to be gentle, soothing, and irritant free for those who suffer from sensitive skin and razor burn. Coochy delivers a nice, clean shave ever ytime with little to no irritation. No more red bumps, rashes, and painful nicks and cuts, just a silky smooth cooch!

I have never used a shaving cream that has the consistency of coochy and now I am hooked on it. It is nothing like your average shave gel or cream. It comes out like a lotion and does not lather or change consistency at all when you rub it on your skin. At first I was a little put off by this because I am used to getting a big foamy lather from other shaving cream, but like I said now I am hooked on this no lather shave cream. The pump bottle is very easy to use, the only time I have had a problem with it is when I am towards the end of the bottle and really have to pump it hard to get the stuff out. (That's what she said) I use about 3 pumps each time I shave my entire coochy area. Considering I shower/shave once a day a bottle of Coochy lasts me about 3 months. Not bad at all considering how much expensive shaving cream, razors, and lotions I use before I was introduce to Coochy.


The only few problems I had with Coochy at first is it such a light white color/almost transparent that it is hard to see on the skin. This can make it hard to know how much you applied and make you wonder if you used enough. Another issue I had was how slippery the product is, when I dispense it into my already wet hand it slides right off so easily! Kind of like with hair conditioner, it is so silky soft that the whole blob can lip right out of the palm of your hand if you are not careful. I make sure to keep my hand right next to where I'm applying the cream to avoid the "dropping the soap" problem now.

Picking a scent for this product was a challenge for me with all the wonderful looking options, but in the end I went with the green tea scent. I love green tea and green tea scented things so it seemed like a safe a bet. The smell if very light and refreshing, not overpowering or strong at all. I hate when a shaving product is so potent that it lingers on the skin even after rinsing (Many mens shaving gels/creams for example or even some strong floral scented womans shave gels). The smell is light enough to smell nice while you shave but not noticeable at all once you are rinsed and out of the shower.

I love the scent of this but I find it kind of hard to compare to any other smell. Not strong like green tea, kind of like a light cucumber smell, slightly floral and soapy, but mostly just a real refreshing "summer" kind of smell. After finishing my first bottle of the green tea I was tempted to try another scent, but I loved the green tea way to much to risk it so I bought another bottle of green tea.

The 4 oz. bottle lasted me roughly 3 months, with everyday use. I used to buy the average size can of shaving cream and those would last me about the same. Less is really more when it comes to Coochy, you do not need to use a handful of it for it work well. I have very sensitive skin and most average shaving creams did nothing but irritate me and leave me with horrible razor burn. After trying new razors, pricey shaving creams, conditioners, shaving techniques, razor burn treatments,, I was so fed up with trying to get a smooth shave coochy was really my last resort. I now shave using sharp mens razor, 3 pumps of coochy cream, and finish off with a pray of coochy protection spray (highly reccomended!) and while my skin is still super sensitive and I get a few bumps sometimes it is a huuuuge improvement. Seems the only time I still get a little irritated is when my razor is getting dull or I shave too often.

When I first started using Coochy I was kind of disappointed with my results, only to realize I was using it all wrong. The first few times I use the product I assumed that the product would lather a little bit and got frustrated when it did not. Because of this I ended up putting way too much on my skin, making too thick of a film on my skin to shave properly. I also made the mistake of using a crappy razor thinking that I could get away with it because this is some miracle product. I ended up with the same nasty razor burn I am used to. After trial and error I realized to only use enough to coat my skin lightly and to always always use a nice sharp good razor because while this product is great, it's not a miracle and the razor does help. Now that I have my routine down of how to properly use Coochy, I am smoother than ever before. So just a heads up to you ladies, you may need to tweak your routine a little bit to get the full benefits of this product.
