Small, easy to use

I'd use this again for sure, and I think it's a nice alternative to the smelly lip balms you can buy at the grocery store.

Use

I'm not huge into lipstick or lip gloss so lip balm really appeals to me, especially when it can make my lips look naturally more appealing without having to reapply it all day long. This lip balm has a strong scent but is clear, so my lips look shiny and full without having to reapply gloss or lipstick. I like how small this is and that it will easily fit in my pocket or purse. Within just a few minutes of applying the lip balm, my lips begin to feel warm and tingly all over, and they start to feel fuller and more intense.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture looks a little rough, but it's actually pretty smooth and easy to apply. I didn't mind it at all, although the warming sensation that the balm brings takes a bit of getting used to, especially if you aren't expecting it. It feels very, very warm. If you aren't expecting it, it feels almost like you got some spicy sauce on your lips.

Taste / Aroma

The taste isn't terrible if you lick your lips, though I wouldn't recommend you flat-out lick this balm. The scent is fine. It's not strong or particularly noticeable once the lip balm is on. Overall, the taste and scent portion of the balm didn't seem too different to me than other lip balms. If you hate the taste and smell of something like Carmex, this is actually a nice change.

Performance

I'd suggest applying the lip balm at the beginning of the day to get your lips feeling as full and tingly as you want them to. If you plan to apply lipstick or lip gloss over the balm, you can certainly do so, but I'd wait until your lips have reached the "fullness" that you want. If you plan on using the lip balm on its own, I would just reapply if your lips begin to feel chapped or before you start to go kissing! The warming sensation doesn't take long to kick in, so you could easily apply this before a nice make-out session and share the warmth with your partner.
Follow-up commentary
After a few weeks, I'm still pretty pleased with this lip balm and, since it's been getting so chilly outside, I have been wearing it more frequently. It definitely prevents chapped lips and I've gotten more used to the texture.
