Sticky and Delicious

This product tastes and smells like real chocolate, and you don't need much to sweeten your night. It does get sticky after a while on the skin, and the brush is pretty cheap, but other than that this is a wonderful treat and a fun way to get creative.

Use

Shunga Chocolate Body Paint can be painted onto skin and licked off. Really, there's not much more to it than that-- simple and fun. You can express your artistic side and add a little something to foreplay. I recommend it for anyone that likes chocolate!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This body paint is pretty thin, but not runny. It goes on easily and stays in place unless you use a lot. It feels cool and smooth on the skin. My only complaint is that if you don't lick it off fast, or if you leave a little bit by mistake, it gets sticky. Then it's hard to get off.

Taste / Aroma

I really liked the taste-- but then again, I'm a chocoholic. It's like ordinary chocolate syrup, but not as sweet or overwhelming. It tastes purely chocolatey, and not fake at all. The smell is the same, but pretty faint. You can smell it on your skin (or your partner's) but it doesn't linger in the room.

Performance

I've used this several times, and barely made a dent in the bottle-- it'll last a while. If you lick this off when first applied, it comes off easily-- but if you leave it a while, it gets very sticky and some stays on your skin. I usually still had a few smudges on me after use, but it comes off with just warm water.
Also, it'll wash off of clothes, even delicate underwear. Don't ask me how I know that.

Packaging

I really like the little bottle that the body paint comes in. it's pretty and elegant, but not discreet. If you want discretion, you could peel away the label.
My one disappointment was the brush. As other reviewers have noted, it's just a little foam triangle on a stick. On the plus side, the foam felt really nice on my skin. The brush worked fine for me after I got the hang of using it (don't use too much chocolate as once) but it isn't great quality. You'll want a new brush long before the bottle runs out.
Follow-up commentary
I liked the Shunga chocolate body paint, but it wasn't something I used all that often or all that much of. Even though I kept it tightly closed and in the fridge, it dried out before I got to use most of it.

Would you recommend using this over normal, grocery store-bought chocolate syrup? Good review.

Maybe you can try a Japanese calligraphy brush?

I like this better than grocery store syrup-- I've tried that before, and it globbed together more and was harder to get the amount I wanted. Also, the taste of the body paint is less sugary than regular chocolate syrup. It's really up to you if you want to spend the money. This will last for a lot of uses, so it was worth it for me.
I bet a calligrapgy brush would work really well Smile
