Use
The Heart's Desire warming massager is a great tool to use for a relaxing and/or sensual massage. Use it alone and rub it over your sore, tired muscles, or help your partner relaxing by doing it to them. It can also be used to heat things up in the bedroom by incorporating it into an erotic massage. It can also help aid in relieving sore muscles, headaches, and joint pain. They can also be used to warm you up on cold day.

Material/Measurements
The outer material of the massager is made of PVC. It feels smooth, though the edges aren't and can scratch your skin. It smells like pool raft but the smell will go away with washing and time. Inside is the liquid and a small metal disc, which is what activates the liquid. When not activated the heart is squishy and easy to grip.
The heart is 5" wide and 5" long. It fits nicely in the hand and is easy to hold and manipulate.

Performance
The Heart's Desire warming massager needs to be activated in order to get it to heat up. There is only ONE way to heat the heart- by flexing (bending) the medal disc that is floating around inside. Do NOT put this in the microwave! Instantly crystals start forming as the liquid heats up. As the liquid solidifies, the heart becomes less pliable. I found that if you work it (knead) it a bit, it won't get completely firm as fast. However, avoiding that isn't possible. The heat lasts about 30-45 minuets. I have read in the directions from another massager that wrapping it in a towel or cloth could prolong the heat, tough I've never done that because obviously that takes away the strength of the heat on your skin. This is a reusable massager. Once the heart has cooled down and the liquid has solidified, you simply put it in a pan of boiling water for 7-10 minuets. The box says to place a towel in the bottom of the pan to avoid it sticking to the pan. For safety, let it cool down a bit after taking it out of the boiling water before applying it to your skin. The heart can reach temperatures up to 129 degrees fahrenheit. Glide it over your partners body to warm them up, helping them to relax. Apply pressure to areas that are sore/tired and work in a circular motion.

The heat feels great during a massage. The PVC glides nicely over skin but you can use a silicone lubricant or a massage oil if you prefer things to be slick. This can help out a bit when the heart is unable to be squished/manipulate once the liquid begins to cool after solidifying.

One thing I like to use it for (besides a nice back and shoulder massage) is when I get a migraine. The heat really helps when laying it on my forehead or against the back of my neck. It is also nice for menstrual cramps. I also find they are easier to give a massage with than just my bare hands.

Packaging
The box has instructions printed on the back of it and it's probably a good idea to store it in the box, just in case you may forget how long to boil it. The box cute and decent to give as a gift. I actually put them in gift bags for Christmas last year and everyone liked them.
Experience
I love these little massagers! I just wish the heat lasted a bit longer and that the crystals didn't become so stiff after while because then it does limit what you can do with it, since it won't bend anymore. I love that you can use these again and again- you really do get your money's worth out of these.
Follow-up commentary
I have had this heart for a couple of months, along with others that I've had even longer. They really come in handy for headaches and muscle pains. They are nice for giving a massage but become harder to work with as the liquid cools and becomes more stiff. I've given these out as gifts and everyone has liked them. It's worth it to have one, two or a few around.
