The Knead me massage set by JimmyJane is truly amazing. It really exceeded all of my expectations. I love anything to do with massages and just knew I had to have the Knead me massage set. The great thing about this massage set is that you can use the Afterglow candle and Contour M separately or together. Personally, I think they work together fabulously.

This set is packaged beautifully, just aching to be unwrapped. I love the design and craft of the massager and candle included in this set. The slick, smooth texture of the Contour M massager will leave you wanting more and more. The scent of the Afterglow candle is divine and will fill your nostrils with yummy goodness.

This massage kit will work great for couples and will turn the romance in your bedroom up a few notches. The Afterglow candle and Contour M massager are easy to use and provide for a relaxing, sensual massage. This would be the perfect gift set to give to someone you love and care for.

Now let's get down to the knitty gritty shall we? First we will talk about the Contour M included in the Knead me massage set.

The Contour M massager



The Contour M is one of the most simple yet intriguing massagers I've ever laid eyes on. It's dome shaped and concaved with 4 round pinpoints underneath it. The Contour M has a bit of weight to it but isn't heavy. I love how slick and polished it looks. It is a solid white color with the brand name "JIMMYJANE" printed in grey letters across the side of it.

The Contour M fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and moves smoothly down any surface it touches. It is made out of double-fired biocompatible porcelain. This massager is versatile and made for whole body massages. It also holds temperature and can be warmed or cooled for extra stimulation. The measurements for the Contour M goes as follows: 3.5" x 3.5" x 3.75". It is non-porous and easy to clean.

The Afterglow candle



The Afterglow massage candle is the best part of the Knead me massage set. It's shaped like a square and has a spout-like indention on one of the top corners of the candle. At first I thought this indention was an imperfection of the candle but I was gladly mistaken. This indention is actually a pour spout which makes pouring the massage oil easy and less messy.

Like the Contour M, the Afterglow candle is made out of slick porcelain. The porcelain container is a solid white color and has the brand name "JIMMYJANE" printed in grey letters across the side of the candle along with their signature logo printed above it. The color of the wax is also white. The measurements of the Afterglow candle goes as follows: 2.6" x 2.6" x 2.5".

If you rub your finger against the solid massage wax inside of the candle you will feel how greasy it is. Because it is a massage oil type of candle, you can easily dig your finger into the soft yet firm massage wax.

Upon lighting my Afterglow candle for the first time, I noticed how quickly the wax-like massage oil began to melt. Once I extinguished the flame I got to feel the massage oil for the first time. At first I thought the massage oil would feel thick and would leave my skin looking waxy because it is a candle. To my surprise The texture of the Afterglow massage oil was very oily and smooth. It actually left my skin feeling soft, moisturized, and was thin in consistency. Thankfully, it did not leave my skin feeling greasy and it absorbed well into my skin.

The scent is one of my favorite parts of the Afterglow candle. JimmyJane offers the Afterglow candle in 8 different scents such as: Bourbon, Pink lotus, Cucumber water, Gingersnap, Grapefruit, Dark vanilla, Fig leaf, and Black current. Unfortunately(and fortunately) JimmyJane only offers the Dark vanilla scent for the Knead me massage set. Thankfully, the scent is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! There really aren't enough words to describe how delicious, sexy, exquisite, and intoxicating this scent is. If your a lover of all things vanilla scented then you are in luck.

This vanilla scent is not light and sweet like most vanilla scents. It's dark(like it's name) and somewhat musky. I just love how the aroma of this candle fills my bedroom after the candles been lit. It puts me in the best of moods and my husband also loves this scent. On the original box, in which the Afterglow candle comes in, JimmyJane explains the scent of this candle in this unique way: "The exotic Vanilla Orchid as it was meant to be-rich and musky, with an intoxicating liquor finish. There's nothing plain about it. Distinguish yourself."

Although the scent doesn't linger forever(like I wish), it does linger on the skin for a few hours after your massage. So if your not a big fan of this scent you might wanna hop in the shower afterwards. If your a big fan of this scent then sit back, relax, and enjoy the scent!

Overall, the Knead me massage kit is fantastic. When ever my husband and I are in the mood for a massage our go to massage oil is always the Afterglow. I love that the Afterglow massage candle is easy to use and convenient. I don't have to run all the way to the kitchen before giving my husband a massage just so I can warm a bottle of massage oil in the microwave.


Upon first use of the Afterglow massage candle you will first need fire. Grab a lighter or match and light the wick of the candle. Almost instantly you will start to see the wax around the wick begin to melt into a perfect pool of oily goodness. Depending on how much massage oil you will be using for your massage will determine how long you let your flame go on for. With the Afterglow candle you will get clean-burning every single time because it is Paraffin free and lead free. Interesting enough, the wick of the Afterglow candle is made out of natural cotton.

I usually let my massage candle heat up for about 15-20 minutes before extinguishing the flame. According to the instructions you should let the flame burn for about 30 minutes(20-25 minutes if your in a warmer room) so that you have a good sized portion of massage oil to work with. Once the flame is extinguished you can pour your warm massage oil immediately onto your partners body, or you can always pour the massage oil into your hands and then rub it onto your partners body. Which ever works best for you. The pour spout on your Afterglow candle makes for easy pouring and less mess.

You don't have to wait a few minutes for the massage oil to cool because it really doesn't get too hot. It feels so warm and amazing against your body. Each Afterglow candle has up to 32 hours of burn time.
This massage oil works very well and doesn't feel thick or waxy like you might think it would. It's thin and smooth in texture. I love how well this massage oil absorbs into your skin and leaves you feeling soft and luscious.

Now, let's not forget about the Contour M.


I really love the way the Contour M feels against my back and muscles. It glides so easily against the contours of your body. I guess that's why they call it the "Contour" M. This massager is fairly easy to use. It has 4 rounded nodes underneath the concaved shape of the massager. These 4 nodes work well for multi-point stimulation and feels amazing on tense muscles and any kinks and knots you may have on your body.

The Contour M is easy to use. Simply hold the massager comfortably in the palm of your hand and glide it down your partners back. You can use all 4 nodes or you can use one node at a time to apply pinpoint stimulation on your partners problem areas. The knots on your partners back will easily be rolled out as you use this massager. You also have the option of turning the Contour M over and using the large dome for bigger strokes. The Contour M is Ergonomic and reduces strain on fingers and wrists. The only thing that could make the Contour M even more amazing is if it vibrated!

One great way to use both the Afterglow candle and Contour M massager together is to pour the warm massage oil from the Afterglow candle into the underside of the Contour M and let the oil pool in there. Then gently turn the Contour M massager over and massage your partners back. As you stroke the massager up and down the warm massage oil will drip out of the Contour M and onto your partner for a sexy, sensual massage!

The Knead me massage set comes packaged neatly in two separate boxes. These boxes come joined together in a thin cardboard-like box wrapping with grey blotches all over it and a sexy hot pink ribbon wrapping around the box complete with a matching bow. I didn't care much for the outer packaging. Inside of it you will find two boxes, one containing the Contour M and one containing the Afterglow candle. The packaging is simple and discreet.

Upon opening the boxes you will notice the phrase "Melt Me" printed in white underneath the top flap that opens each box. Cute touch! Each box contains facts on the outside of them and ingredients. You will also find pictures of the products on the boxes. Each box contains their own set of instructions. After use, I usually store my Afterglow candle and Contour M in each of their original boxes.

The Knead me massage set is everything My husband and I could have ever wished for in a massage set. We both enjoy giving each other massages and experimenting with different massage oils and massagers. The Knead me massage kit was the perfect gift we could give one another. My husband loves the Contour M more than anything. He loves how easily it glides over his body parts and how great it feels on his shoulder blades. After a long day of work he looks forward to my lovely massages and the Knead me massage set makes giving massages that much funner.

We have also purchased a second massage candle because we like the Afterglow massage candle so much. We bought the Pink Lotus scent and it has quite the strong scent, though husband really likes it. It's got a very floral scent to it. I didn't like it too much at first because of the strong floral scent it possesses but when I first tried it on my husband I began to like the scent more and enjoy it now. We plan to try out more Afterglow candle scents in the future.

My husband and I truly love this massage set! Highly recommended.
