Ride H2O lubricant - lubricant discontinued by Sliquid, LLC - review by amazon

We're always looking for lubes that are not just eco-friendly (sure, it matters a bit to us), but more importantly that are skin-friendly. The Ride lube definitely came through in that area. Take a look at 90% of the lubes out there, and they have things like isothiazolinone (and it's got a number of variations that are all the same), parabens (again, runs around with a lot of prefixes that all mean the same thing), these are things that not only bother my skin, but if you look around the world, most countries look very suspiciously at these things and in a lot of cases have recognized health risks. That said, Ride has much safer, much friendlier ingredients. To me, that's the MINIMUM standard for any lube we use.

Now, how does it perform (because come on, that's really why you'd read this)? Well, it feels wonderful! The lube comes out and has some nice, thick consistency. We've used it vaginally and during anal sex. In the second instance (in the ass), the thickness and consistency really work well. No, it doesn't sit exactly where it's squirt, but it doesn't all run right off your skin before being used. It's just thick enough to work quite well. We've also used it with toys...many times. It's a great lube because you don't have to worry if it's going to be compatible with whatever you're about to use.

One significant downside to the Ride is that is does dry out when exposed to the air. Once inside (be it each other or a toy), it will last quite a while and feels great. However, left to the air it will dry out rather quickly and require another application.

Clean-up is quick and easy. It washes off with hot water, and maybe a little bit of soap. Makes for simple and swift post-sex cleanup!

This is probably our #2 lube. We prefer the Sliquid Organics, but the Ride is a little bit thicker, so it's generally been the first choice for anal. The biggest problem is that in most other uses, it does require reapplication frequently, so keep that in mind. All around it's a great lube!
