Great Lube For Use With Anal Toys - Not Too Thick, Not Too Thin

Sliquid's Ride H2O lubricant has a great scent and good consistency. It is perfect for anal play, especially if using toys, and for vaginal sex. While it works well with masturbation sleeves, for some reason it tends to dry out quicker than with other uses, so have some water or make sure you have plenty of lube on hand. All in all, this is one of the best water based lubes I've used.
Just the right viscosity
Very nice scent
Stays put
Good for anal play
Not the best for use with masturbation sleeves

useful review
This will be a relatively short review . . . I don't think I could write a book about a bottle of lube, but I do feel this stuff is good enough to publicly praise. Among the water based lubes I have tried, this definitely ranks as one of the top two. Among the water and silicone based lubes I have used, this definitely ranks among the top two.

I've been looking for a good water-based lube to use with my silicone toys for a while. After the first use, I knew that Ride H2O by Sliquid was exactly what I was looking for.

Ride H2O has a light, citrus, very clean scent. The viscosity is best described as moderate. It's thick enough to stay put until you're ready to insert a toy, but it's not so thick that you need to worry about having too much friction with vigorous thrusting. What I really like about Ride H2O is that I can smear it around silicone, glass, and plastic toys, and not have it instantly bead up and run/drip off (this happens when I use wet-light, (which was my previous go-to lube). I like smearing lube around toys (sounds great, doesn't it?) because I can ensure that the entire toy can be inserted in one motion without problems.

I have not used this for vaginal sex with my girlfriend. I specifically bought this to use with my anal toys. I did try this with my masturbation sleeve, but for some reason it ran dry relatively quickly. My guess is that it pools at the end of the sleeve so it effectively gets taken out of the picture. Adding more lube to the entrance of the sleeve does the trick and gets the friction back down, however.

If you're looking for something water based to use with your anal toys, this lube fits the bill! I highly recommend it.
Follow-up commentary
I just wanted to write a follow-up . . . I recently tried Probe lube, thinking it might be similar to Ride. While it is thick, it is also sticky and "stringy," in that it doesn't dab on cleanly and tends to form little filaments of lube as you pull the bottle away from where you were just dabbing. Probe feels good and gets the job done; however, I think I'm going to stick with Ride.

    Good review.

This is our favorite lube. We did find it tends to dry much more quickly during hand jobs but lasts for everything else.

We haven't tried it with a tube yet.
