Maximus is a clear, water-based, non-glycerin lube and is very thick. (Because it doesn't have glycerin in it, it's great for those who get UTIs easily.) It was recommended to me for anal play because of this thickness, and it is there where this lube excels. There's no smell and little taste, and nothing unpleasant at all.

I used this lube mostly for anal play, and it was absolutely fantastic. The thick consistency is perfect for it. It's long-lasting and the thickness makes everything really comfortable. You only need a couple drops as it spreads really easily. I've also used this lube for vaginal sex, but I noticed the difference in thickness less there. However, that doesn't mean it isn't a great lube. Maximus truly shines and is just noticed more in anal play.

I also love that it's relatively inexpensive. So far, it has lasted me almost a year, using it at least once a month.
